Bit of run good earlier that I posted ended quickly and back to the struggle. So many spots yesterday where very very bad plays got rewarded.
One guy raise-4bet shoved triple suited fd with no support in single raised pot. My AKQJ on JJx got beat with close to 80% equity.
Another spot I open AA, face 3bet and cold call. 4bet and both call. Flop comes QQ5r, cold caller shoves SPR 0.33, I sigh call, 3bettor fold behind and I see QTT9ss. This was guy that has done similar massive preflop mistakes and is probably on profit vs me by just making these miracle hits...
Basically around 1.7k€ down after that reported good run day. I guess positive messages gets revenged in blogs.

Time to drop plo100 tables again I guess. I just get destroyed by these constant brain dead clowns. Cant win stuff like QJ76ss or J652ts hands where opponent piles all or half of their stack to middle pre. I think there was 6 or 7 of these and I lost most. Maybe won one. Then few spots Vs more reasonable players with 70-80% equity on turn all-in and nope can't hold. Some setups with AK boat Vs AA boat. Another day with 10 or so bins down.
This when you watch that most opponents make such big blunders in basic preflop ranges... Obviously nice (to see mistakes) but also frustrating.
Played only one session today before sauna but had couple interesting hands. Will post those today or tomorrow.

Villain pre 3bet is actually 100bb deep solver approved but marginal. Not so sure if thats the case 200bb deep as you should tighten somewhat oop. Flop is so light that potting 100bb deep is theory wise quite reasonable but again 200bb deep potting is less attractive as you cant make it two street game. I kinda dont mind betting flop and turn with his hand. River is though interesting as all weaker hands are just bluff catchers. Villain did think quite a while on river before shoving. But yeah I feel like x-c could be better option. There are some hands that I might hero call with two busted fd but probably not that numerous.

This one is interesting pre as at least I have tend to undervalue this kind of hand without A but in trainer K654ds show EV of 0.3. Hand like AT98ss with A high suit has similar EV.
Postflop wise I doubt we want to have much of leading range on this specific flop as its so rare to hit 2p+. Though some other low or mid straight flops I definitely have leading range. On other hand 54 is "decently frequently" played combo so leading might be reasonable.

I kinda get villain snap call on river. Its tough to have trips+ overall and he does unblock most busted fd. But thing is that these things accounted makes this really bad bluffing spot imo. As default I would probably have close to no bluffs really. Unless I think opponent is tight and unwilling to bluff catch or that he is good enough to thing its bad spot to bluff. Kinda leveling spot in a way.

So I think every postflop street has more than one reasonable way to play it. Though on flop I think hand is bit too weak to aim for x-r and didnt necessarily want to get raised if cbetting. So x-c felt good option.
On turn we could definitely lead. I think trainer uses 1/3 size but not too familiar with this approach tbh. Tried to go for classical x-r but didnt work.
River is again interesting but I think when we unblock A and J its kinda nice one to aim for x-r. Good amount of stuff that call river bet tend to value bet as well. Beside some mediocre two pair that might bluff catch but not bet. Personally not big fan of this kind of sizing opponent uses on river. I guess he was inducing and got what he wanted.

Yesterday played four PLO50 tables and one PLO100 table. As usual run on PLO100 was kinda nasty.

Pre call kinda marginal theory wise but on other hand people call way too much which helps somewhat probably. Flop not looking to lead almost anything from OOP3. When facing bet and pot raise I dont think I can fold with nfd and oesd. Thing I didnt love was that my oesd can be dominated but I think just call make more sense than shove. Turn is awesome one which I lead for SPR 0.5 probably getting always called.

Then unfortunately got into some other imo setup spots where I could not do much else. These three hands happened inside 15 mins or so in same table...
MP open, I 3bet, cbet 2/3 and stack off versus raise. Imo ok on such light flop (high, low, low cards) with AA and OESD. If my hand was bit weaker I think x-f or bet-fold with some A:h:A85 combo could make sense.
Then this happened where I open EP, CO call and SB squeeze. Mandatory call with ds combo (ss I would open fold anyway). Then SB make this half pot cbet which I really hated to see. Reason being I doubt he has any bet-folds and this really looks like AA+nfd or similar. On other hand this is SPR bit below 2 spot and I do also have oesd and mid pair. So I dont think I can fold but I actually thought of just calling to fold flushing run out. Well in the end shoved anyway and got HU versus SB who had AA53+nfd. Turn was heart and I were almost dead (one out to straight flush).
Then I get this one where MP open and I just call QQJJss on BU which I think is standard. Ds we can 3bet. BB squeeze, MP fold and I call. Flop is beatiful top set but 88% not enough.
So inside 15 mins got three allins where my equities were 30%, 30% and 88% and lost all, bleh. So chance of that in row was 0.7*0.7*0.12*100=5.88%. Well not that small possibility I guess. But imo I played these all ok.
Plo100 is a beast... and even AAxx only has 60% equity... I have heard of two coaches who have beaten that level and moved on... but all others have fallen back down..
Obviously there are lot of players playing at higher stakes and these plo100 tables are soft fairly often though also bad sometimes. But yeah problem with very gamble happy tables is that variance goes through the roof. E.g. today had this hand on PLO50:
That was believe or not preflop allin. I open CO, BU 3bet, both blinds cold call, I 4bet assuming I "crush" everyones range and they all get it in. But ultimately what was our preflop equity in this? I would quess maybe like 30-35%? No idea but lets check:
Ok so we were doing kinda hot with 35%. But obviously 2/3 of the time we still lose the main pot. If you have couple of these in session and happen to lose all (which is not that unlikely) it can easily define your session result wise. If we check my hand vs lets say 30% range from everyone I would have 30%. Vs 50% ranges 33% equity.
Anyway in actual hand BU and SB should snap fold to my open and BB call as defend. Instead we have 4way allin preflop. Wild wild west

Just find the fact that you cant see losing call hands at all quite big disadvantage for winning players. E.g. you value bet nuts and you have no idea if villain called with 2nd nuts or some totally absurd stuff. Well of course if you see someone calling a lot and losing its more likely he is call happy.

Haven't tried crypto either (it is stocks on stock market for American alternative societies); but for many it is safer option, as stocks are directly tied to the governments of countries, while cash is more free and "bigger" in a way. In live poker you also can't see mucked hands, so it is made similar to that, I believe.

Beside optimistic pre open I feel like CO is kinda committed on this. Maybe calling and folding to my shove could be reasonable. Now he obviously run into absolute worst case scenario. Though if I do shove flop I will probably have better made hand or some combo draw like top pair+nfd etc.
River was friend on this one.
MP who opens way too wide (as visible from this hand) opens, BU call, I squeeze and both call. SPR bit over 2 potted flop to give bad price for draws (that I unblock completely). Though with this low SPR pot is only sizing we really want to use anyway. Both called and I didnt like turn. But with SPR 0.3 shove is only option and could still have best hand. But with two callers straight is very likely. But yeah quads was nice finishing touch on the river!
Plus lets add one actual suckout from flop where I got it in with 20% equity 3way. Would not x-r really with weaker mid set. I mean maybe without bdfd but at least gs is required.
So I open CO, BU and BB call. Flop often connects to BU range and he has been fairly stab happy so decided to check. BU bets, BB just call, I x-r, BU call and surprisingly BB is the one shoving. I were not thrilled to see that but obviously committed.

Issue in this spot is that if either has JJ or AA we are practically dead. Plus if we run into stuff like AJ and wrap we have like 44% which is still great. But blah I were so close of getting it in but flipped into fold side which is probably fine theory wise. At this point I didnt really have maniac reads on BB (who went bit bananas later on at least) and SB had been more of passive player. But yeah folding and seeing both has dryish AJ which would have been absolute dream scenario... OUCH!
Man I would love to have EV data once again from today just to see that at least sklanskys are going up. Absurdly bad run in all-in spots which was then combined to absolute monkey button clicker getting rewarded in every spot. He literally 3bet at one point TT83ts, cbet A65r flop, bet-call T turn and what did I have? Well obviously some AJT5ss type holding so miraculously villain finds last T in the deck after stupendously bad pre 3bet.
