Go Pokernoob!!!
Elias en Robbie............. nice work, greetz from a dutch member...
Oh ja, en de winnaar van ons High event op zondag ghehehe...
We arrived at the casino, players are packing out their chips and action will start very soon. Get ready for the first updates guys!
GL on day 3 guys
P.S. I guess Trader would be happy with the table in last article, but you should rather put Pokernoob in there
Pokernoob lost 140k being preflop all in with 99 vs AK. A and K on the board gave his opponent Two Pair.
Malte is out!
Deuces against Ace Jack all-in preflop. Malte is the first one out in the money.
72 place finisher.
Pokernoob dropped from 600k to 400k, but is now back to 450k by aggressive play.
He started the day playing aggressive, three betting a lot and taking down most pots.
Guy with 280k opened on the hijack and Pokernoob explained he called 99 on the CO, because he would get 4 bet a lot and doesn't want to 5 bet shove.
The whole table knows a call by him looks weak, because if he had a good hand he would 3 bet for sure, since he has been so active.
So now roland de Wolfe on the button actually 4 bet pushed him. Pokernoob explained that if he had AA, KK, QQ and maybe JJ he would just squeeze and hope to get action. Because a raise from Roland in that spot looks so squeezy and fishy and he would lose value to jam aces instantly and that's why he'd never do that.
Now his jam was about 200k total and Pokernoob had to call 185k into a 230-250k pot. He explains that his range is like 66-77+ up to TT or maybe JJ and hands like Ax. So it's a good spot to make a call. If he won then he would have had 900k and that would be by far #1.
Anyway average is 228k so his 450k is still comfortable.
Chipcounts after level 15
Blinds are now 3000/6000 with a 500 ante
63 players left
Average chipstack: 228k
Pokernoob: 450k
Sergio: 320k
Benjo: 115k
Jan1000: 110k
AceOnTheRiver: 77k
Sergio lost about a 100k pot shoving to an openraise from a shortstack with AQo and losing from QQ.
One hand after that, he called an openraise in position and called on a J93 rainbow flop as well.
When villain checked on a 7 turn, Sergio made a nice bet and got called.
River was a blank, both players checked and Sergio took down the pot showing KJ.
Benjo is not doing so well, he was only able to play one hand which he didn't win.
AceOnTheRiver is pretty short so let's hope he's able to double up soon.
