PLO50 HU AJ95ss 3bet pot, too loose flop peel?

Flop call seems standard. FYI: this board plays very different to 6max. The 3bettor isnt pot/calling every overpair in HU.

This is a flop where the villain is supposed to bet pot very often, and the turn is kind of the same story. Given the weak sizing, I’m jamming. He’s still in a really tough spot with his overpairs (which he can and probably should be considering folding + you block some AA), and even if you get called, you still have a ton of ways to win the hand.

Obviously, in this specific case he has 88, so half pot is a good sizing. But for the majority of his range, he should still be potting both the flop and the turn, which makes me lean even more towards a turn jam.

In general potting is not as much a thing when SPR gets deeper. Like in this case it's still over 9 on flop. Point being even if you pot flop and turn SPR on river will still be over 0.5. So it's not achieving the usual two street game plan that is one of main points for pot cbet.

But yeah raising turn could be anyway reasonable. It does remove our positional advantage though with kinda mediocre holding so personally I still lean toward call.

LOL, my bad you are right. I did not pay enough attention to the SPR.

Would 9 of diamonds turn make a great semibluff card for you since isn't it a more of a range shift in your favour? You have decent equity against hands they want to commit with, now you will actually lead versus many of his draws and sometimes he drops right there.

It's a little thin on the flop, maybe 2bdfd will do better. Kinda depends on the 2nd barrell freq.

No leading as we are in position. But if villain did check turn it would be totally fine to bet though facing x-r would be nasty.
