What is your status for the Millionaire? How many flips have you ran to get to Go stage and what is your final stack size?

Okay no problem. I would not call that necessarily nothing to report. But yes write more again when you are back into the labs...

What kind of cheating are you seeing and how do you know it is cheating? Im curious to see what i should be looking out for.

Really sorry to hear that mate. The post covid depression is so draining, glad you're on the other end of it now, hopefully you get that motivation back to your previous levels soon.

What format have you decided to go for?

Sorry to hear what happened to you, but I´m also glad to see that, I´m not the only one who lacks motivation during downswings. I think that´s the most difficult part in poker: dealing with downswings! Trying out a new format is a great idea to keep up the spirit! I will do that when the next downer hits me!

And learning something new is always a huge plus in my book.

Mystery Battle Royale heavily depend on winning mystery bounties, right? I used to play them as a sidegame before they changed it to mystery bounty. There were bounties from the start then.

Yes, I meant the bigger bounties. But I thought less money went into the normal prize pool (top 3), because you win 'nothing' at the $0.25 games. But now I see that is because it is also less total players as before.

You can specialize in 2 things at the same time maybe, or do you want to pick 1?

I wonder if there is a difference in collusion between battle royales and Flip and go's though because it is just 18 players.

If the variance is too brutal at too high stakes, it sometimes helps to drop down the stakes. We sometimes think we need that few extra k $; but we actually don't. Another helpful thing that has helped me is to count the downswing in buy-ins. (~my max downswing in buy-ins was like 30 buy-ins ($24 BI stakes) in 2010). I also dealt with depression recently, after our second son was born in 2019; I got really depressed as his mad grandmother was attacking our family daily from her next-door apartment. It took me like 2 years to find a suitable solution for me to be happy again. When the future looks dark and too tough, depression is quite easy to happen I think. All the best, good luck, will be following! :f_thumbsup:

There's not much to worry about at the lowest stakes, I feel. Even if there is some cheating, they're probably still playing so bad they can barely win regardless. Which is why they're not playing higher.

At the F&G the bulk of the cheating happens at the highest level, which is almost always less than 18 players anyway. But I can't speak for MBR. Hopefully it won't be quite as bad...

I agree. There is not much point in people cheating to gain pennies.
If there is cheating going on, it would be between a group of friends that are all sitting at one table — say, 4 friends at a six-max table, that then exploit any non-group players that join.

If you join a table, and there are 3 or 4 players with 200+BB stacks — don't even play.

For the games I play , they're mostly known individuals anyway.
