And I made it - 7,5h of heavy grinding and 10k hands. About 1350 hands/hour. 24 tabling all the time. At some point I felt, that if possible, I could easily handle 30 tables..

nazzz969: I play NL100 full ring on Stars, but I always start new tables so I play a lot of hands shorthanded. I recommend you to have at least 50 buy-ins to move up to NL100. It is def profitable here

dandycal: as I said, 24 tabling all the time. The bonuses are fat, yes. I recommend to gather at least 100k FPPs and go for the 1500$ bonus. And sometimes Stars offers some nice instant cash bonuses too, I went for the 1000$ bonus (for 62k FPPs) 10 days ago and planned to get there at the end of the month, but now I'm only 5k FPP-s away from it Made 12k FPPs today..

I'm not planning to move up, I like it here in NL100. Heavy traffic during the peak time and I know all the regulars, so no need for stats. I somehow don't feel comfortable moving up..

First I must also say that you have great stamina. I'm not ready for my A game after work everyday and your volume is really impressive.

You said you play a lot of tables shorthanded. Have you developed the strategy for that by yourself? I know you can get some really fishy action by starting tables, but I don't know how to play them.

I also have a question about you playing without stats. Have you tightened up because of that? Because your results really improved after you said you were playing without stats. I am also noticing some players on full tilt playing 8/8 9/9 SSS and having really good results and I also notice that I usually manage to do better if I'm a little tighter than my 11,5/11 usual. Maybe some moves are just not profitable so much because of rake? Or is just because of the level of play that is better to stay a little tighter.

As im hovering around the NL50 SSS and one day aspire to be at this level, i'll for sure be checking back in here for a regular read. Good to see NL100 is nice and beatable with the SSS.

RahXephon1: yes, I have tightened up a lot, cause I figured that if I play a lot of pots, I lose a lot of rake and it's better to table-select and play tight game. I play only at the peak times during the heavy traffic and loose tables, so that way all my monsters get paid, so no need to loosen up. And I constantly change tables - leave the tight ones and open new tables.

I have developed my own strategy to play shorthanded, and a lot of the players who join first are the same each day, so I know how they play, even without stats. But usually it takes up to 10 hands HU, then some more while 3-4 handed and then the table is full, people join instantly if there's at least 3 people already sitting in.

Obv came the HU together with the tilt monster, so I lost 1k$ and a bit more in 2 days. Shook it off, ground few days and almost recovered from the blow. Have been ill last few days so not as much volume as I wanted, but time to set some goals for the next month. No point now in posting the Septembers graph here (I haven't even looked at my whole months graph myself, but together with the tilting and stuff it should be some 2,5-3k$ up, rakeback added), but I want to play 150k hands in October and will keep you updated. I'm happy with anything over 2bb/100, as it will additionally generate about 2250$ rakeback, making it a 5k+$ month. And with a little luck, even 3-4bb/100 is possible..

This is an example, why you should not tilt - lost 8 stacks, had some setups and beats, felt the tilt coming, but instead of falling into it I kept playing my A-game. And got rewarded - BAM and money started to fly towards me.

So always stick to your game and shake off the bad beats, don't lose your edge cause of the tilt and you will get the money eventually.

Edit. What a sick day it eventually was. Played 6,3k hands and ended up 12BI below EV. But the good thing is, I didn't tilt.

October started well - 38k hands in 4 first days. Yesterday I played only fast tables and made a new record - 1600 hands per hour. I think I'll continue to play fast tables only, cause I'm a FPP pro after all ♠_biggrin:

Aiming for the 1500$ bonus and 2000$ milestone bonus this month, plus a little something from the PS top250 promo. I want to buy a TV, Blu-Ray player and a sound system as soon as the 1,5k bonus is released, so will go to a electronics shop today to keep me motivated I think I'll take the Philips 42" PFL8684H/12

Have experienced some serious swings, that's why I'm keeping a 100BI bankroll from now on. 10BI ups and downs in a session have become a standard, but well, my sessions are 3-4k hands long..

Have managed to stay in green, 800$ up atm I think. Oh, and haven't tilted yet ♠_cool:

About 5 months. But I have picked up some pace and playing 150-200k hands per month from now on. And who knows, maybe going for the SNE next year (requires 300k hands per month). I receive more money from rakeback and bonuses than from playing. I'm a 24-tabling FPP PRO.

The first month as a FPP pro is over for me. Did my downswing end? Nooooooo. Again some 1,3k$ under EV. some results:

Hands: 166k
Hours: 150

Played only 23 days this month, so I have some room to improve. Played a 8 hour session yesterday to get the milestone bonus and fulfill my goal for the month.

VPP-s: 52k
Rakeback: 2100$
Milestone bonus: 2000$

Money won: 750$ (EV was above 2k$)

I was up 2k$ at some point, but some bad play and tilting towards the end ate my profit. Oh and I was 1k$ up after 3 first days.. Will post my monthly graph when I'm back at home. Didn't play HU, so that's a progress after all.

Also wanted to get the Pokerstrategy top250 200$ bonus, but as I can't play this weekend, I will probably fall just below the top 100 line.

Goals for this year: reach 300k VPPs for the 3000$ milestone bonus, so 50k VPP-s per month. Win at least 1bb/100.

Goals for next year: Supernova Elite with a positive winrate.

I will finally get my well deserved rest form poker, as I'll go camping with my firends for 2 days. The temperature will be 5 degrees below freezing point, so it'll be a chilly weekend.

BTW, how are you gettign rakeback from Pstars?

You can buy items form Pokerstars shop or buy cash bonuses and milestone bonuses. You can also use the concierge service - buy something, send a bill to Stars and they will credit your FPP account and debit cash with a slightly better rate than the best SN bonus - 500$ for 31k FPPs.

With the current volume I should receive about 45% rakeback, but I will do the exact calculations when back at home.

i could never do that. i only play 4 tables. much better winrate but god im jaelous of all the money you get from bonusses and and rakeback.

Ok, did the math and calculated, that I received 50,6% rakeback in October.

52190 VPP-s x 3,5 = 182665 FPP-s

50% from the 2k milestone bonus for 25k FPP-s = $1000 and 157665 FPP-s x 0,016$ = 2522,64$
So $3522,64 rakeback / $6956,80 rake paid = 50,6%

About the month - I'm satisfied with the first 140k hands, but very upset about the last 25k hands. Bad play, nothing more to say But at least I found my game on the last day and hopefully start new month with a heater.

Of course I started off with a "heater". I mean WHAT THE FUCK????????? Without the rakeback I would send poker to hell.
