do not break BRM no matter what, just because ihufa is not busto yet It doesn't mean it's a smart thing to do.

Ok, if you keep chasing fish maybe you can make some money at HU, but please stop calling 4bets with TT 100bb deep and calling A5o oopI guess you had some read why you would c/r bottom pair, bet it 1/3rd pot on the turn (giving him cheap odds for his likely draw) and then at the river making a good c/c when the top card pairs against his busted draws.
In short..... dude, you're not ready for HU if you've only played SSS before. Please don't take this post as an insult, but even though HU is all about playing the opponent, I cannot find any read that would justify your play in these two hands.
ps.
If this guy is a regular and plays on FTP, please type his nick here![]()
the way this guy was betting was very standard, 2.5 bet was his standard cont bet and he was so aggressive with his hands that he would have 3-bet me with something really good on the turn.
ok i wasnt ready i admit, just looking around though.
on a side note, went back to proper BRM sss NL50 with $370. I AM NOW AT 250.
gutshots, 2 outers, you name it. this is ridiculous i swear i am losing with the better hands.
i am on a way to some record.
oh. unless you say that i play bad when i raise 4BB with AA, get two callers on a 56Q rainbow flop, i call donkshove and guy shows 56. ok in these spots i put my money in when behind.
leak?ps. larceny101

but i only sat down with $10 and after i got $35 total i sat in another table and invested 15 more. so overall my totaly HU investment was $25 and i took a break from FR grinding..
ok
done everything
played most careful poker ever.
villains flopped 5 sets vs AA KK and i also found villains drawing on me all the time.
i have $150. down $150 today again.
sick?
very.
very
very
as long as fish win.

If the money would have gone in if the situation was reversed (opponents have your cards and vice versa) then the expectation for this spot is 0 and no money has changed hands in the long run.

I remember reading statistics from one player for very long stretch. Don't remember exact numbers, but it was like few hundreds$ won with AA, hundred+ with both QQ and JJ, but with KK +3$ ♦
The most popular and profitable for pokerrooms is your KK vs AA. Seems to be very small probability, but strangely happens too often
oh
and i will prove it
as for ss.
NEVER. AGAIN.
i would rather play bss with 4 BI BR
never before have i seen 8 sets cracked in a row in exactly the same fashion-runner runner straight
what is the statistical probability of KK vs AA? not as much as im seeing.
as for 25% getting there 60% of the time....
put your money in good every time. long term and so on. i have seen the long term. i have made money out of the long term. and now i am going through the longest short term downswing ever. we are talking 3 months and 60k hands.
and no i am not on tilt. when i faced the first 6 bad beats tonight i laughed. it was after the 10th i lost that smile and after i dont know what that I exited 13BI down. and by the way, i would have made more tonight but no A9o vs AdKd is apparently so much better at hitting flush at a late stage of iron man freeroll.
I am playing WINNING poker. which doesnt win.
try calling villains hole cards time and time again. and LOSING to bad beats.
I am so disgusted. so disgusted it is hard to put into words.
why havent you played in a week brood?
and this is from the biography of a pro poker player i was reading this morning, made me think of this
"I also learned to see through two amateur truisms that a spell as a professional will quickly disprove: That losing is always the fault of the cards, never the player; and that the person who beats you is either lucky or a fool, usually both."
seems like you need to read the psychology articles. I've been $850 under EV in 5k hands playing Nl100 and NL50 SSS. When you play as many hands online as people do you're bound to come across a stretch where you lose an "completely impossible number of coinflips" although with how many hands are played online, is quite easily possible.
Work on your game, no matter how good you are I doubt you are perfect, look over your game because the more of an edge, the less likely it is you have a horrible downswing like this.

It seems incredibly boring compared to mmorpg's
it's depressing but hang in there.
in my situation, my bankroll has been going up and down non-stop since April when I used $100 at titan from TAF, luckboxed until 2k and donked every single dollar away (but managed to cash out $1750 through bonus points)
took many shots at NL100 with $3-4k and always got raped by some 10BI downswing.
Then I changed my game, switched from NL50 SH to NL100 FR and moved half my roll to fulltilt poker. over there I got ultra lucky and I made 2k+ this month from first deposit bonus and winnings
Moral of the story: Try changing your environment and game, it may work (move down your limit, maybe play NL10 or 25 BSS at another site and grind out the first deposit bonus)
P.S. Your headsup play isn't good at all, please avoid it for now and master BSS on 6max or FR first, watch tons of videos before playing headsup (i massed deucescracked vids before i attempted to play)

wtf, another NL100 FR grinder on ftp? what's your screenname?
I don't know if I want to continue playing SSS, I 've heard it's swingy before, but this looks more like a guilotine to me :/
