If my relationship with Mansion was a marriage, I would probably be filling out divorce papers at the moment. It would be the only way to avoid future jail time for domestic violence.
Our relationship which had been strained through the 2 months of running bad is simply not getting any better. I decided to work on our problems since there is still that issue of me needing to get 6k more MCP this month and the day started well enough with winning a few pots against loose passive idiots checking down flopped sets and getting it on 4 straight rivers, etc.. and the tables were really soft and promising.
Unfortunately things were not to be .. and the turnaround came hard and violent. It all started with me losing yet another coinflip of the full stack type. This puts my total amount of lost NL100 flips at 10 while my won NL100 flips remains at a proud 0 (something that has really not helped our love life)

The momentum was instantly broken and the floodgates released. Sitting deep stacked versus calling stations at all tables I would flop trips, pot the flop, pot the turn - river 2 outer. Few hands later, rinse and repeat, river 3 outer. River 2 outer. Bam bam bam. Of course I'd pick up a few pots as well but the majority was shipping in the direction of the place of least equity.
At one table it was particularly brutal and so I quickly dropped from 2 stacks - most of it to the same guy who would call any pair for 3 streets of potsize value. Sadly he would also always his miracle cards against my monsters.
Now all in all this belongs to poker and I know it all too well. I love my fish and them sucking out belongs to the big plan. Yet over time it gets boring when every session at Mansion ends the same way. With my first deposit bonus depleted and my 3 month bind soon over I will therefore look for new hunting grounds now.
Currently in consideration: Everest, Ladbrokes, PokerHeaven or a return to Cake / PokerStars
Bright note: Currently once more 45$ up and 3 tables still open with fish on them.
Related Variance: Still plenty of room in either direction
