Hello, nice too see somebody is reading my blog :P

Havent updated to regurarly, but will try to in the future!

I dont really have any table selections, but i never play someone with less that 15 dollars on FL100. To much to loose compared to how much you can win... They also tend to hit and run alot, wich almost makes me tilt _biggrin:

If you like you can add me on msn: fredrile@hotmail.com and we can discuss some FL HU strategy! Not many people playing it, so hard to find good learning material :P

Fun hand of today:

Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Play hand

$0.5/$1 Fixed-Limit Hold'em (2 handed)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 2:d, A:h.
Hero raises, BB calls.

Flop: (4 SB) 3:d, 5:s, K:c (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB calls.

Turn: (3 BB) 4:c (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB calls.

River: (5 BB) 6:d (2 players)
BB bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 7 BB.
Results follow:

Hero shows a straight, six high(2:d A:h).
BB shows a straight, seven high(7:c 2:s).

BB wins with a straight, seven high(7:c 2:s).

Now that you have changed your thread name to "FL HU", I'm reading it too
I'm also interested in this format. Will probably start in November.

I recommend you installing skype. Lots of FL people on it already :) I have like +15 FL contacts.

GL, will follow your progress.

It is a really interesting format, unfortunately i cant play for a while because of sucky BRM. Gonna grind low stakes sng up to about 100 $ before i take another shot at FL100. The variance is really really big, with calling stations it really increases, but they are still profitable in the long run! Adjusting to your opponont is main focus, and i think i do this pretty well, depending on the types!

Gonna download skype, whats you nick there? :)

Ai, HULHE at 0,5/1, rake is killing.

You better start at 3/6 at least when doing cash HULHE.
Otherwise maybe HULHE sng's are an option..

Good luck.

as what the man above me said... rake is going to really kill you even with decent rakeback (which stars doesn't have for low stakes) it still hurts alot... i played a lot of fixed limit on party playing 1/2 and 2/4 though it was profitable rake just does too much damage the rake will end up being higher than your win rate. Also feel free to add me on skype.

Have been playing FLHU100 for two days. Played 649 hands. Up 55$ but rake is 48,4$ wich is insane.

Yes, as you say the rake is exrtreme, and i agree. I have actually started playing HU SNG at Full tilt, the structurethere is WAY better than stars! The blinds starts at 30/60, so action from minute 1, compared to Stars, 10/20 i think. The blinds also incresas more rapidly.

How do we addapt to the changing blinds this is one problem I had.. in the middle stages if we have the lead, chips are even OR when we are behind. Late game is also strange seems simple when villan has like 4-5 BBs but i still don't get it.
