Havin run it in equlilator, lets now say you have 57% equity against his calling range. So for simplicity sake lets say you win 6 of 10 times, so 4 times you lose your BI. of the 6 times you win you may cash 65% to 70% of the time which is 4 times, so 4 times of 10 you play the hand you'll cash, lossing you 6BI before adding cashes, so lets say we're in a $5+0.50 S&G we have lost $33 before adding cashes + 4BI for the times we do cash to breakeven we need to win 10BI (as the 4 times we do win we still have to win out BI back). The payout structure is: 1st $22.50, 2nd $13.50 3rd $9. We need to win atleast $55. At best this is margionally profitable. Lets say your an average winnig player so you finish 1st, 2nd, 2nd, 3rd. This wins you $58.50 - $55 = $3.50 = ROI 6-7%. IMO there are simply better an move effective spots to maximize profit. There is an arguement for both playing this hand and not. IMO though why flip your stack when you still have so much play left in it? It's not like your SS or anything! flipping with like 40BB+ is just sill to me.

Just to be sure i got you right John. You would call the first raise and then fold to the all in move.

So we're ahead of villian's range IF we get called and there is also a good chance the orignal raiser will fold giving us 330 chips so why not get the money in?

i suggest you reread the OP's post. there are two villains and OP called not raised.

in short: there is a squeeze and we are in the middle and confused.

Exactly, helps to avoid situations like this.
