I cant figure out the math. Would FL SH players receive more VPPs than the old system of VPPs destribution?

nice changes overall, supernova1 rakeback increased from 28% to 37.4% for SH/MTT/SNG grinders
And thats w/o quarterly 1M freeroll

What was the old rate for FR? Are the FR nits going to be moving to the SH games en masse?

New rate will be 6 VPP / $1 MGR, that's true. I just said, that fullring games dont use this method now (SH use it at 5/1 rate)... Tbh, I don't remember current VPP allocation at FR tables.

And no, FR grinders won't move to SH, because they'll lose only around 1.5% VPP in comparison to current system (2+2 info). Still, FR games allocate more VPP/dollar paid than SH, but it's MUCH better for SH players than before, so we can be just happy about the changes.

Will the points you earned in 2009 could you buy stelar reward in january 2010?

or will only points aquired in 2010 come into count for stealr rewards??

all VPP will be reset on 01/01/2009, so you have to earn them again.

has anyone done an analysis of how these changes will affect medium volume players at mid stakes? ie. players who can achieve gold/platinum status?

I've done alot of hours of testing on both NL 25 FR and NL 50 FR.

In the end, in terms of rakeback, on supernova it will end up at within a percent of 34% rakeback (Divide by 7 and mupliply by; 3 for silver; 4 for gold; 5 for platinum; 10 for supernova elite).

In terms of strictly VPP speaking:

NL 25 used to offer 10-12 VPP / 100

It now offers 7,35 VPP / 100 over a 14k hands sample

NL 50 used to offer 22-26 VPP / 100

It now offers 12.55 VPP / 100 over a 14k hands sample

Any thoughts on that?

every time a poker room changes its points system is getting worse for the player....it was same on party and now here....750 fpp for silver is the same as before just less points which you are getting at same pace as before when it was 1200. LOL. stelar rewards sucks ♠
