there is no eventually. The PCA starts in like 1,5 weeks. Could try again next year but right now I just dont feel bothered with anything tbh. :/

It is with a very heavy heart that I begin this update. December has obviously been a very hard month. I have put my whole heart and soul into it, and I have had 2 live-packages slip out of my hands.

I was in the top 10 in the player ranking the whole month... The last 2 days I have slipped out of the top. I am unable to win.
So yes, the disappointment and everything is just overwhealming right now and I defenately need a break from poker.

I do feel like I dont wanna come back and play, but knowing myself I will just need a couple of weeks to pick myself up.

Anyway, I've been writing on this summary for a couple of days now and I thought I'd post it.

2009 summary

It was actually in the very beginning of 2009 that I started reading articles, and playing according to Pokerstrategy's articles.
One of the best decisions I ever made.

It has been an interesting journey so far, and it is not by far over yet. Here are the highlights of my first real pokeryear:

• January 2009 - deposited 140$ to Partypoker and started playing SSS on NL25
• Feb-March 2009 - kept playing SSS on NL25
• April 2009 - Started my swedish blog and my bankroll was now at 462$. Mid april I started playing BSS, NL10 at pokerheaven.
• May 2009 - I played some of my first MTT's (WITH knowledge of how to play) and had my first "big" cash, finnishing 3rd. And I was unsure of what I wanted to play so I played a bit of everything. Had surgery at the end of may so I had a break and spent a couple of weeks healing on the couch.
• June 2009 - Decided to play SSS again and worked alot so not alot of poker. Worked alot on mindset and was successful with that - pokerrelated nothing much happened.
• July 2009 - I got a 500$ bonus on partypoker which I decided to try to relrease playing SSS... ended in disaster. Decided to go backpacking when I was done with school. Did nice in some MTT SNG's.
• August 2009 - Went to Holland for a vacation and to visit my best friend. Pwned Gerv in a homegame. Had an awesome vacation and did play some poker meanwhile. Took a shot at NL25 and got pwned by setups and had to step back to NL10. Started school again - played less poker. Took a few shots at NL25 again and lost a couple of buyins due to setups again. Started doubting myself
• September 2009 - Took another shot at NL25 and a combination of scared money and setups sent me back to NL10 once again. Tried playing NLSH which turned out great for a while until I started speewing around and tilted. Started dubbing videos for Pokerstrategy and had busy times at school so played no more poker for a while.
• October 2009 - Took a new shot at NL25 which was successful. Was busy with videos and school so didnt play alot. Became a moderator at the swedish forums! Moved to a new appartement at the end of Oct.
• November 2009 - New peak in my bankroll - 1000$! Kept playing on NL25 and had a huge upswing. Stopped smoking! Played flawless sessions, but the downswing hit me anyway. Shipped a Razz MTT on Mansion. NLCG downswing still active.
• December 2009 - NLCG downswing still ongoing. Hit sick hands, and still kept loosing. Started my MTT month. Came close to cashing a PCA event package twice. Was in the top 10 of the leaderboard for another livepackage in the first 3/4ths of december until i slipped further and further down towards the end of december. I fell on the finnishline... bye bye livepackage. Not feeling to great this month, obviously.

In general, it has been a nice year for me. I did well playing SSS, and I did well on NL10 BSS. I do well on NL25 BSS FR aswell, but I just have not yet been rewarded. I actually noticed something someone said in a movie, and I wanted to change it a bit. So for everyone who ever doubt themselfs:
"You are not a bad player, you're just a good player who bad things happen to." Will be my new motto during downswings.
