Don't stop now! That means you have 6 months of doing nothing in Malta ;)

It's a joke is'nt it?

Surely I not went to malta to playing poker. That can I make in germany, too.

To learn english (and have nice days) are more important than poker for me;)

It's funny, you shoud read some german blogs. All people said that it doesn't make sense. People just graph the allin ev when they run bad. So thats the point that I try to let it.
Beyound that you don't see cooler and setups etc...

Here is an ev graph from me _cry: _cry: _cry:

Hey,
I've been hearing about the whole malta thing a lot lately. There are a lot of poker players who rent houses and play and party a ton no taxes for winnings and stuff like that. If somebody's into sharing I don't mind some details.
Cheers

This is something I am sure we'd all like to hear about and not just the poker stuffs :f_biggrin:

$838.70

Yeah, I become a grinder (called nerd? :O  ;( ;( ;()

Because of my (online) bankroll management I had to move down after I lost 2 stacks on NL100. After I won 6 Stacks on NL50 I moved up and crushed NL100 again.
I just need 5 Stacks on NL100 to move up to NL200=)

Reeeeaaaalll life? I became a nerd since I went to malta

Ok, I'm just kidding. I try to write something from my real life;)

What's a ton? 1000 kilo?

You are right. Here are many poker players. I don't know why. I think most of the people [oh my god I lost all my skills in passiv senses. And babelfish isn't a good friend I think:D)] can be led because of no taxes for winnings. But it's really nice. It's january and we have 20°C =)

My most important reason to went to malta is learning english. In my opinion poker should no reasion to go abroad (maybe just when the person makes millions)

I live in a house with two other poker players. The 2nd poker player will come in a few days (and want just to live here for 3 months).
I've an own room with an own bathroom. Upstairs there is an office where I play. My housemaid often plays in his own room.

My rent is 550 €. It's a lot but it's less for this veeery veeery nice house. I don't have pics. But when you want to see another nice house (where the rent is 1000€ each, then click here https://forums.pokerstrategy.com/de/forum/thread.php?threadid=726717 Siete lived there. Maybe you know him because of his coaching vids)

Other prices are normal I think. Some things are chaeper some things are more expensive.

I'll first make party next weekend. So I can't say something about it. The other guys said thats nice, too.

Another funny fact is this: the cars drive on the wrong side. Can you imaging that? (I think so:D:D:D)

Ok, I have to go to bed=)

Wait... i dont get it.
U have a housemaid which plays poekr in her room :in your house?
Okey just joking. Probably u meant your housemate?
Oh and now i remembered. Do u have your own cook or maid that would be awesome. Just leause and grind time :) Nothing else to worry

Ok sorry, i mean housemate (hope this is a good word at this place?! I know it from Drawn Together:D)

No, we don't have our own cook. I'd like to cook by myself=) But we have a maid who come 1 time a week.

I should play a little bit better. But what I should say it that the first sessions i played well. But in the evening I 12tabled what was very bad...

I should do something more for or against my non showdown loses. In the past they were +-0 and now the loses are more than 5ptbb/100. That's a horror.

Final Pot: $141.

Villain: 40/31/2,4 (just ~100 hands)
Look at the stack sizes.

I even remembered that he showed his hole cards (he had 6 :spade:5 :spade:).

On the turn I don't know wheater the ace or the queen is good but against him I can give me 13 discounted outs. [I've got a question. Is "wheater" the right word in this sentense?] I would like to c/r him allin on the turn but I think that the stack sizes are too big.
But when I c/c him than I can bet, too, can't I? I don't know. It would be very sick when he would raise my bet. Because of that the c/c is better?!

Final Pot: $88.24.

He was a reg.

What the hell are his hole cards? Maybe he thinks that I would play c/c on the river with an ace on my hand so he can bluff my. On the other side he should protect his good hands on the flop and turn. He raised very fast on the river so I think he had a monster (TT, 77, 66) most of the times.

What do you think about my line? Is it bad because I would play c/c on the river with an ace?

Final Pot: $79.5.

Villain: 21/15/1.1, steals 40% from BU and fold 49% to 3bet (he should have a range about 22,4% in this case).
Fold to cbet in rr pots: 35%

What shall he have? He could have a set. Something like TT-QQ he should raise it on the flop. KK+ he would 4bet it preflop most of the time.

Because of the reason that he calls too much I think a 2nd barrel ist a good possibility to balance my good hands.

What do you think?

AQs: what do u think about a second barrel? c/c sucks imo, cause it looks like what it is. a weak hand/draw.

KQo: i dont really like the ~1/2 ps turn bet. with what kind of hand do u do that? what would u have done if u held AA. i think i would have c/f it.

AJo: he steals a lot, so i prefer a passiv defend. there are a lot of aces u dominate, u have a coinflip against pockets <TT.
as he doesnt fold to cbets that often i think i would just give it up on the flop as played.

Because of the reason that he calls too much I think a 2nd barrel ist a good possibility to balance my good hands

because he calls that much, i would make the value cbets a bit higher than normal, and barrel a bit less. maybe call down a bit lighter

not sure if my english is correct, but i think u know what i mean. and i'm playing FR on NL50, so i might be wrong :f_eek:

Hi :)

I was just reading the blog (nice blog btw) and since no one answered this yet: the word you are looking for is "whether" which is indeed correct. The extra 'a' probably came because you were thinking of the spelling of "weather" :)

The correct spelling is "whether"... or you can just use "if" instead. And you can better say it:

"On the turn I don't know whether an ace or a queen is good..." - since you are not speaking for a particular Ace (the Ace of hearts for instance), but for any Ace (an Ace). Hope it makes sense.

P.S. Sorry SoyCD I think we were writing our posts at the same time

AQs: Yeah I even wrote it that a 2nd barrel probably will be better. The fish probably won't think about it but I think he will recognize that I havn't a good hand.

KQo: I like the 1/2 ps bet very well. It's a cheap possibility to 2nd barrel in a reraised pot. Think about villains range when he called the flop in a rr pot! If he wants to go broke it's the same how much you bet. If he has a weak hand he will call a 1/2 bet in more cases. Yeah and I bet 1/2 pot with overpairs, too! It's enough to go broke on the river and it's enough to protect against draws.
Just another reason is that he won't believe you that you represent a strong hand.

Ah ok, thanks! The "a" was a typo, sorry.

"whether" seems a little bit weird for my ears when you know what I mean... The "problem" is that I often use the word wether in german sentences=)

Why can I use "if"? I think I need a condition in my sentence to use "if"?!

Because of the, an and a: I mean my ace und my queen so I think it doesn't make sense. Maybe everybody think different in this case. I don't know.

Here is my graph. I played NL200 although my bankroll is not big enough.

In the 3rd session I don't play very well:( Shit happens:D

Preflop: Hero is CO with J:c, K:s.
MP3 folds, Hero raises to $7.00, BU folds, SB calls $6.00, BB folds.

Flop: ($16) 4:s, 8:d, J:s (2 players)

Turn: ($38.8) K:h (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $26.00, SB calls $26.00.

River: ($90.8) A:c (2 players)
SB checks, Hero ???

Villain: 56/27/2.9

What do you think? The ace is a really bad card for me because he could make 2 pair AND it's a scare card for him. On the other side I want max value from him. Are there any cards that can call a bet from me? I think when he has a Jack he can level himself.

I bet 1/2 pot and he folded but I think it was a bad decision. What do you think is better: block bet/fold or check behind?

Villain was a 19/16 4ptbb winning player (81k hands). I dont know what I should think about the hand. The funny is that I won 3 pots agaist him and all the time he played weird.

Ok, I'm looking for the other hands...
