Okay! Mission accomplished! I've reached my 5k hands on NL10 now ♦

Even though I was a bit steamy/tilty at the end of yesterdays session I feel very good overall with my performance. Rome wasnt built in a day, and I will always have days when I shall struggle with my temperament. ♦ That's just something I have to accept even though I will do everything I can to prevent it.

So here is the graph like I said....

I think it looks very solid, and I think I can take a stab at NL25 now. I actually look forward to it but I have to make sure I am in a good mood before I start the session. ♦ I think I might have a go at it tomorrow.

Any comments on the graph are welcome! (actually, appreciated even)

20/17 might be optimal vs those guys nl10. 80 flop cbet is also not too much on nl10 i guess. on higher limits flop cbet in single raised pots between 72 and 80 should be standard.

however, who needs stats anyway? keep on soulreading and moving up limits (for that private jet )!

Oh yea now I remember it ♦ I booked traintickets to the swedish (unofficial) PS.com meeting today!

The swedish members has organized a meetup.
I think it will be loads of fun! ♦ We shall have dinner, go clubbing and ofc play some poker etc too. I think so far there are mostly freelacers signed up but that will still be alot of fun.

A bit more then a month to go, but will be awesome! Looking forward to it

actually if im playing cash games its FR NL10 SSS, but im more MTT and SnG player now..
i like your blog because i like your attitude to poker, your mind set and how nicely you are moving thru the limit.
im at the moment in point where i need to increase my BR but i struggle..my party points and PS are growing fast but my BR is +-20 percent on the same amount..
ONE thing i can be happy about i WILL HAVE GOLD rank today and i will GET elephant license..at least something positive
right looking forward next blog post...

And yes, I have worked alot on my mindset and attitude to poker because I think those are very important things to work on. Sorry to hear that you struggle to increase your bankroll, but I heard that baceuse of the rake the lower SNG limits are indeed hard to beat? I'm not a SNG player myself so I wouldnt know, but that's what I heard somewhere.

When you get enough partypoints, buy yourself some extra money or perhaps a bonus? Something that would help you.

Nice to hear about the goldrank! And the Elephant license! Just like you say, we need to find happyness in joy in anything really. It's good step forward. You also get more articles to read, and that might bring you even more steps forward soon enough.

Just keep in mind that as long as you made the right decisions, the outcome doesnt really matter. In the long run, it will all even out and you will get what you deserve.

Okay, yesterday was a bad day.

I first played one session on NL25, and wow did I do good! I was up 2,5 buyins and things felt really well. Then I started my second session and at first I was up, but then I started loosing. Somehow, I got into a bad mood I seem to be very sensitive right now...

Well, we all know playing when in a bad mood isnt the best thing ever... So I lost 1,5 buyin in total for the session but was still up for the day.

Later on, I opened up some MTT's. A bit later on when I only had 1 MTT open I opened some cashtables, but I shouldnt have done that It was hard to focus on both and I got outfished and sucked out on the CG tables. So I obviously lost a bit more there.

In the end I was on the final table in a 2$ MTT (why always the 2$ ones ey :() and 6handed action I lost KK vs QQ preflop all in on the river. Nice big pot for the 2nd place in chips... but instead I got sent packing. Blergh.

BUT, I shall NOT be someone not to learn from her misstakes. I am determined to find a solution to my obvious problems.

Guilty as charged! Well actually no I dont normaly play at PP but I had gotten 50$ bonus from them that I was just messing around a bit with

Hmm. I just had a very heavy session again. Everything got cracked and I got outfished and all that normal wayne-stuff.

I am not off to a good start on NL25 Well, I'm not playing that bad really I just have a downswing right now.

The thing is. I cannot let it get to me like that. Even if i remained quite calm for big parts today, I can't really say I played 100% A-Game.

I kind of... dont really know how to approach it. I'm trying so hard to find a solution but... Nothing just seems to work. I mean, I know it's just a game, and I know if I play my best it will all come back to me in the end. I know all that, and I mean it's np as long as I'm not playing.

IT'S IN THE HEAT OF THE MOMENT... that the problem strikes. So it doesnt help to tell me "as long as you make +EV moves it will all even out in the end." It doesnt change my problem. If anyone should have any interesting ideas about how to change that, feel free to tell me.

I think I need to work out a plan for myself. Not allow myself to play for more then x minutes at a time, no more then x sessions per day etc... Perhaps that would work.

At least, I wont go to bed in a bad mood. Having watched the clip below that just wont be possible. I've saved it to my favourites ♦ I'd like to thank mr Teddybear for showing it to me!
