I went broke, but I DIDN'T have to deposit ... I used freerolls to get myself back in the game ...

But losing the starting capital wasn't in vain - it taught an essential lesson early on ...

A lesson which some of us who start with an upswing have to learn much much later on and endure more agony

Got $400 mostly at MTTs (Played FR, SH and SnG as well). Played a few tournaments outside BRM then got back to $330.
Got a downswing to about $280.

Decided to switch to BSS to improve my post flop game. Got a little agressive with overpairs and I'm down to $220.

So far I'm not beating NL10, so I'm thinking about quiting. I mean, if I can't beat that, why am I losing my time with this?

I'm trying for about 10k-20k more hands I think...

So, $220? Decent?

Lost almost all of it, got my TAF money, lost most of that, but built it up with my remaining $16 :)

I went broke cause I sucked at BRM :).

got a nice BR out of it ;) _cool:

Ive been doing decently on FL first, made it up to 100$.

Made some nice cashes in tournaments (up to 380) then but sadly those evil hyperturbo's on Full Tilt are pretty addictive and I went down to 100$ again. Then I shipped the big little tournament (-> 1100$) and then the hyperturbo's (higher limits, but within BRM) came back and FTP introduced Rush Poker: 3x stacked w AA/QQ/KK vs quads on NL25 -> tilting on PLO25 -> 630$

But I still see a multiplication by 12 a nice bankroll :P

Managed to build a reasonable roll on Pacific with a 2nd chance $50 from PS.

Currently bouncing back from a $170 downswing (manily caused by switching to BSS from SSS) - back up to $650 and building.

Thanks PS - doing it properly this time.

I donked it down to 2 dollars, got back up to 48 , donked and tilted that back down to 0,16 cent.... I got my rake back of 5 dollars, and made that in to 25 .. I learned my lesson, sticking to BRM and stopping when almost on tilt... :)

p.s : screw FTP and PS. theres better elsewhere.

first month nearly lost in, luckily finished 3rd in MTT for 98USD, went down to 60 on speed and turbo SnG..started SSS micro NL2,4..builded to back to 100..finished 3rd in another MTT for 95USD..lost it to 150..and yesterday won MTT for nice 337USD..received nice 30USD bonus today..stand at isch on 520USD decided to cashout today 300USD to buy bigger 21 screen for my pc..
and then back to the tables to get bucks for new poker pc..
but never received any 100USD bonus..partypoker changed the rules

My original starting capital disappeared (its like magic you just play a limit you only have 4 buyins for and watch it disappear!)

Fortunately I got enough strategypoints to get the second capital on mansion. I have turned that into $2100 and growing!

I've been grinding with that deposit for a long time, everytime things are moving forwards, and I start thinking about moving up a limit, things nosedive, all profit is lost and I end up close to where I started. It's tedious, but I'm still in the game and who knows, maybe I'll catch a good heater and bust through the limit I've been stuck at.
I've heard of people getting a 2nd starting capital, but how many strategy points do u need for that?

From 50$ to 200$ per three months, looking forward to clear out 100$ bonus.
