Anyway, about the security. I must say security was pretty tight here, more then most of the other events I have been too.
I also heard something about a robber being catched. If its true that they captured one and the others freed him wounding a security guard then you cant really blame the security people for not doing their jobs.
I'm just wondering cause it shouldn't be possible to run out of there with the money and I'm wondering how they got in there too.
I hope they didn't really hurt the security guy though but then again were there no other security personell to help him...

Just one thing, the money that is for example lying on the table during heads up or whatever is always just fake and for TV show purposes.
So IF they really got away with 700k that would be because of a big mistake by tournament staff... Normally prizes are not paid out in cash.
In 2005 the Aviation Club in Paris also got robbed during the WPT event there. The robbers got away with like 75k (prize pool was €2 million) because there were also cashgames going on the casino and they stole some personal belongings.

They targeted the registration office where the high roller event was registering = loads of cash.
