Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, 1.2 Tournament, 60/120 Blinds (4 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

Hero (BB) (t2280)
UTG (t6275)
Button (t1020)
SB (t3925)

Hero's M: 12.67

Preflop: Hero is BB with 10, A
2 folds, SB bets t360, Hero raises to t2280 (All-In), SB calls t1920

Flop: (t4560) 4, K, 3 (2 players, 1 all-in)

Turn: (t4560) Q (2 players, 1 all-in)

River: (t4560) 4 (2 players, 1 all-in)

Total pot: t4560

Is it OK to reshove against the raise here? I think he is playing position, so his range is really wide, or do I need really advanced reads on villain in order to make the reshove?

I think you need reads on your villain here, indicating that he can fold some of his range after you push. Most of your equity here is going to be fold equity. If he doesn't, you are big dog I think.

With the short stack being likely to bust out before you, and having still 18BB, I would be looking for a spot to get in first, rather than having to do this. There is still time.

reads are crucial here. if he is a loose stealer then this is very good.

if he is even somewhat tight with his SB steals i would fold this because when called you are always crushed.

if the BU had a bigger stack i push every time.

Surely this play is fine? You have a top 10% hand. If he is raising with a very wide range (which he should be) then if you put up some resistance you are suggesting you have top 20% hand or so. He would give up his steal attempt unless he happens to have a good hand in his range, but since he would likely have a very wider raising range then this is unlikely. If he is loose and calls you, or he has a good hand himself, then you still have a reasonable chance to double up and be in a better position to win the tournament.

What he said, but especially the bold bits.
