Just had this private coaching with a Thomas while we both had to be doing something else. really weird from my part that I prefer to increase my skills rather than Party all day long.

My plan was to check/call Flop, c/x Turn and probably c/x River if I didn't had intiative.

Coach plan was to donk Flop or c/Raise the Flop smallish. Since I barely donk (have to work on that) I c/R smallish, he calls, the 9:s: is a blank but still we vBet against overs or at least entice them to call and let them be sucked in the pot.

River is a honeymoon card and jam accordingly

Most interesting part about this hand and strategy is -- it have gone all-in no matter what.

Would you play it the same way as villain did, if you had 44 - if you were in his place?

i think there is no other way for villian to play but to call down when betted into and bet when checked to, raising will only chase out worse hands.

on the other hand, gerv can vary his line since he isn't the aggressor

I saw this guy as a lesser competent regular so without coaching I would play c/c-c/c-evaluate river

As I can mix it up now c/r smallish as semibluff or for value is now my line with 44 on the Flop. You do not bomb the pot too much and still can bet around 55% of the pot on the Turn to be committed on the River.

I was overrolled since I mainly cashed it out to buy clothes, party, invest, save up and stuff

I'm just rolled for 200NL euros if I merge everything but I just take it easy and make April my 100NL month

x] Results & Thoughts

I ended March with a Civilization 4 marathon with a buddy of mine. Combined with Absolut Vodka, Monster Energy Juice, CoolBest Mango Juice, RedBull and some random /b/ talks, we had fun!

I could play a session on the 31st but decided against it and just learn theory/videos and evaluate hands.

With this post I just post my first 20k hands 100NL SH and I expect myself to have played another 20k in April - so pump up the volume Gervie boy

Despite the fact that I had a green month in March, I still see a result in the means of around 20k hands.

The reason I review my ''winrate'', graph every 20k hands is that a famous coach bwhale told me in a video that '' someone moves up a limit, one should evaluate his records every 20k hands (cumulative and independent) and see if he likes his winrate as in he beats this limit before jumping up a limit again ''

I totally like this idea but I also see a progress of a poker player as if he was starting his own business in the growth stages:

1st step is to exist in the limit. This step in poker is pretty easy because you just join up a table of your new limit and voila, you exist there

2nd step takes a little longer to get going in Poker. This is where I review every 20k hands about how I am doing. It is ok for me to have a losing month following up with a break-even month because that's a financial improvement too!. And we are not talking about the éver continuously growing Skill Level of a Poker Player ♠_biggrin:

3rd step (Success) is the period where you will have a modest winrate between 2-4bb/100 or something like that. You start that you get respect from Regs, that you are dominating them and still continue to cashstrap the Fish.

4th step (Take Off) is where you have a 5bb++ winrate and you just grind off the limit for moniez. Moving up a limit can be your consideration but you prefer to see how long you can maintain this bb/100.
Improving yourself is not really necessary so you cancel all subscriptions, delete the eBooks and block the skype of your coaches

5th step is a really dangerous one, it is the one that you fall down in winrates and realize that you need to improve again in order to have this fixed winrate in the 4th step ( Take-Off).
You may decide to move up because you have the bankroll. Or move down because you do not want to risk too much money in order to get the skills again.

I see myself transitioning from Step 2 to Step 3. When I will move up is between Step 3 and 4 and I think this is an important thing to ask yourself as in: When do I want to move up?

While $0.5/$1 can give me a modest winning , my main priority is to move up the stakes asap.

Today I got a NON-SD coaching so I am looking forward to that

True and simply relying on that is the start of the end. But it is a good and consistent manner to analyze yourself continuously.

How am I doing currently? What kind of problems did I encountered? Did I fixed some problems/leaks I've encountered/identified in the previous x hands? Am I good enough to move up? Do I need to focus more on certain aspects of the game?

In the meantime, I am increasing volume to 1k per day and I must say I've immediately implemented some of a new eBook called Rated TripleT* . For me it was basically free.

To give you an insight in this book I will ctrl+c and ctrl+v it:

Do not quit after 16 minutes only because someone sucked out on you. If your original plan was to play a session of 2 hours, stay seated, keep focused and play those 2 hours. no excuses.

Speaking about that, the first bronze video has just been released. I apologize for the breathing in my mic though, very unprofessional from my part!

Now I went to bed at 3 AM so I slept till 12 which wasn't planned. Normally I go to bed at 2, wake up at 10:30 - 11, drink coffee, read the newspaper and read a book or eBook printed out.

My breakfast contained of cruesli with dried bananananana's, pineapple and mango ♥ and instead of Milk i use vanilla custard *jammie!*

Now I said yesterday that my 2nd session of that day went horrible. Despite the fact that I was up that day, my emotions were disgust, dissapointed and anger.

Today I reviewed the session at Hold'em manager. But instead of walking through the marked hands. I digged through my whole session and opened every hand in the replayer where I Won or Lost more than 5bb.

In the end, I saw 1 flip against me and 1 guy flopping Four of a Fucking Kind while coldcalling OOP

I think I am improving while seeing some major doubts about certain lines to take. It is purely a matter of time while improving my toolbox by coachings, reading literature, think about my game while being outside and enjoying the nice weather ♦

I also had planned to go to the Gym today but I found the review part + all other events that were taking place at Skype a bigger priority!

Today I made 1 major mistake which I was not thinking at all but despite that I am up 1.5 Euro buyin since Euro is the main currency I play on whilst my bankroll is in dorrars, I keep stacks up and down + my graph in Euros.

Funny thing of currencies is that Euro<=>Danske Kroner or Euro<=>Svenska Kroner is pretty Stable at a 1€:7.44DKK
It only fluctuates between 7.5 and 7.4 DKK

However USD$ versus Danske Kroner is far more interesting, lucrative and fun to see:

It fluctuates from 4.5 to 6.25 and like 7 years ago it was 1 $USD = 9 DKK.

This is interesting for me since it is very likely that I will going to study next year in the lovely Denmark

Now for the non-forex traders I will show you the results of 2day:

It's pretty sick I rake around 70$ per day or something like that. Back in the days when I was shortstacking, I laughed at some Fixed Limit players who showed their winrate and their rake in bb/100. They showed that they made more rake than that they won.
Since Weighted Contributed is diffferent than dealt, I think i will be in the same ship as them
