fold preflop

if you play this way, you obviously have to call, but it's a fold preflop, your hand is often dominated

AJ, KJ, QJ, AT, KT, QT, AA, KK, QQ, JJ

all these hands will get a nice payout against you, if you hit top pair or something

well don't get me wrong, it should be a fold after this all-in raise, but it should be a fold preflop too, if you play it and hit top pair you have to stick with it, because what are you hoping to hit after calling his raise?

How about fold preflop or raise/fold preflop instead of having doubts on the flop?

Is that also a fold if it's TJ two-suited?

Hi.

being in your shoes, i would have tried to see the position on the eyes of the CO.....
when the action comes to the CO, he has the chip leader on his left, and two more players, one with a M factor of little less than 4 as BB (under a lot of pressure feeling the blinds are eating him alive) and the other with a M factor of little more than 9 (begining to feel the pressure too). being the CO, second place of the chip count, and with a M factor of 18 .... is it wise to try to steal the blinds with marginal cards? imo its very unlikely unless i have him as a very agressive player. so i would have put him as he got good cards, cards that he will take further a stealing attempt.

btw, just in case, the M factor is the number of chips you need to stay one round in the table.... 9*50antes + 300SB + 600 BB = 1350 chips in this case. this comes from the HOH books, and if you like tourneys and Sit'n'go its a must have, they are worth every penny spent.

Lets say you come to the conclusion that he's stealing the blinds, now its your time to act. you still have 2 players to come, one of them (seat 6) is under lots of pressure so if he hits any pair, Ax, Kx he will probably move all in..... ask yourself "am i willing to play my JTs for 1/5 of my stack?" imo its too risky, you are the chip leader so wait for better cards and in the mean time watch them tear each other apart
