Hello everyone! *EDIT* This is the very beginning of my blog, and is a very long time ago. For more recent information you'd have to proceed to the last few pages! I think its about time to make my own blog here. I have my main blog on the Swedish forums, but as they quite inactive I thought I would turn to a somewhat bigger community to get more out of it. For those of you who doesn't know me my name is Veronika, im 22 years old and I'm from the beautiful country upnorth: Sweden! My first contact with poker was at home with friends and I thought hey, this is kinda fun. Back then I didnt know that online poker excisted, and that you could actually win money ( :f_confused: ) by playing it! It wasnt until my girlfriend told me about her boyfriend playing online that I came in contact with online playing. Naive as I was I thought it wouldnt be that hard, and I deposited some money and tried playing. In a matter of weeks, I had won, lost, won some more and ofc lost it all again! Stubborn as I am, I tried it again. I deposited once again, and I began studying my opponents and started doing what they did. For some strange reason, it actually worked! In a few months time I had build up a bankroll to 300€ (played on a swedish site), but ofc I had no idea what BRM was. Anyhow, to make it a short story, a friend of mine (dustje, mod at the dutch community) told me about this site, and the 50$ starting capital. So from there on, I started playing some SSS on Partypoker. I hated the play on NL10, so I chose to deposit 140$ and start playing on NL25 straight away. I managed to build up my bankroll to 450$ in a matter of months. However, the variety finally got to me, and I started hating SSS! :f_mad: That's when I decided I would go back to playing BSS, like I had done from the beginning. With some help and private coachings from Dustje I was well on my way! I started playing NL10 on Pokerheaven, and that is where my main focus remains! I've been playing a few tournaments and SNG's here and there, and I think they are a nice option to CG when I get tired of that, but defenately nothing for me in the long run. SO! My goal with this blog, is to recieve feedback and tips from you all (those who can be bothered). The focus will therefore be on my BSS-playing on Pokerheaven. My current bankroll is... I dont know, in total I guess around 600€. Below there is a graph of all my hands played on NL10 so far (not that many yet). Any comments are welcome. Goals [] Build up a steady bankroll for NL25 (at least 450€ on Pokerhaven) [] Start playing, and keep playing profitable on NL25 [] Reach Gold Member status [] Work on my post-flop play [] Read all the articles I have access to about BSS [] Learn to calculate and play with odds properly Current bankroll on Pokerheaven 328,77€ I think that will be all for now, any questions and comments are welcome. As my study takes up quite alot of time, I dont always get to play as much as I would have liked to, but I always do my best ;)

Comebacktime!

Yea, that's right people! I'm back in Sweden (Pragueupdate will be posted together with pics in the partyblog), but also back from my break! After a wellneeded break I am back with confidence, and mindset in better shape. :heart:

So I will continue my journey on NL50 SH. Before my break I was down 2 buyins so far in I think around 27k hands or something similar. With rakeback I was up, but It's all about to change!

I've decided to listen to my coaches and try to get a bit more aggressive. That being in 4beting more etc. I just played a session (on my own) and i tried some moves, that worked out well... but damn my heart was beating fast :rolleyes: Quite thrilling actually! :f_biggrin:

I hope dandy is up for trying out some new, fancy, dangerous and thrilling moves! Really looking forward to the upcoming months!

Still gonna have a quite busy time at school with internships and stuff but I have decided not to take school THAT seriously... I worry way to much about stuff in general and I'm gonna try a more relaxed aproach to life and just say "you know what, it happened so whatever, cant change what happened only what will happen next."

So yea! ♦ Back to awesomeness for me! :f_biggrin:

Just wanted to say those pictures of Prague in the party blog were awesome... brought back great memories of European cities.. although I never made it to Prague for some unimaginably insufficiently reasonable... err... reason.

So for a short update, I have decided to move down to NL25 for a while, and that is because of one reason and one reason allone: I'm running superbad and obv loose quite some money due to that fact and since I recently made a cashout I can't really afford to loose that much money ♦

No worries though, I dont see it as a setback, just as a security until I get out of this downer. I mean I still think I can beat NL50, I am quite sure of it infact, but not when I get stacked off having nutflush because someone else made the FH etc :f_biggrin:

Trying to be cool about it and I tell you one thing, It's hard but not impossible I also started a new studygroup - a swedish one so I'll be focusing alot more on learning the upcoming period then actually playing.

I'm working on a individual studyingplan aswell, for stuff I need to read/learn etc. Have quite some new books to read actually I sure have enough to keep myself busy all summer :f_cool:

It also looks like I'll be spending most of the summer in Holland, with my best friend in this world, dustje :heart: It's almost been a year since last time now :f_frown: But yea that's about to change so woho for that! ♦

I know how you feel about loses. Either you get in with best hand and keep losing or you and your opponent have monster. Keep playing and do your best. Believe in maths and statistic :f_thumbsup:.
