Ad3d, UTG first in
26 players left
we just get on 3 tables, like 1 orbit before this, i push 1 hand before this from M poss no1 called me

before this hand MP3(in this hand) won big pot from CO (all in preflop AA vs KK) so i figured out that they wont call mine shove without very good hand

so the troble is that there are like 4 shortstacks (including me) on mine table as there are 2-3 on other tables, i'm like #17 with stack size from 26 players left

Thoughts -> push or fold, first in??

I dont like push here. You have veeery big FE but there is no need to do it. Your stack is ok, M either. You can easily wait for better spot but in the other hand i know people who like shove there with weak aces and argue this with huge FE.

Maybe this is ok in this circumstance but...

IM folding.

yea this spots make me seek. i think i dont get something right. this is mine thought process
- I have an AXs (which makes less possible some1 else have A too)
- I have nice FEQ (i have like 80% of UTG+1 stack, 50% of MP1 stack and ~1/3 stack or i got them covered from the rest of the table)
- after this blinds will pass over me and i'll be left with ~60k on BTN which is not like a very bad spot or end of the world -> but the problem is that i might dont get any oportunity to shove firts in (couse there are also other short stacks on table) until i get UTG again and then i'll have like ~55k and with that stack i have less FEQ and if some1 calls me and if i double up i'll have like ~120k after blinds ~110k, and i'm short stack again.
and btw when i shove with ~50k stack if i double up i'll increase mine stack only 50% from mine original stack 80k, if no1 calls i'll be in the same spot 80k just runining out of time
*shove 80k all fold = stack ~93k/ doble up ~170k
*fold wait for better spot 1 orbit later shove first in all fold ~80k stack/ double up ~120k

- on the other side i have like 16BB and i can wait for better spot

imo the thing is that when some1 calls me the kicker imo dont matters couse imo no 1 will call me with A2-A8 (expect maybe the very shortstacks ?( )and i'm only in bad shape when i got called with 55-99, but i think the flush and str8 combo are compensating for the bad value of the kicker

so what do u think?
what i'm doing wrong in mine thoughts??

what is ur pushing range in this kind of situation?
mine standard shove in this spot is like 66+, QJs, KQs, A8s+, AT+ and some times if table is tight 55/KQ/QTs /KTs/ JTs/KJs (is this range loose in this spot)

:club:- I have an AXs (which makes less possible some1 else have A too)

-yep, i agree with that

:club:- I have nice FEQ (i have like 80% of UTG+1 stack, 50% of MP1 stack and ~1/3 stack or i got them covered from the rest of the table)

- you have nice FEQ because you ship 15bbs from UTG, no because you have 80% or 50% of somebodys stack, it doesnt matter. Good player isnt affraid about losing his stack, he dont take it into account... Good player thinks about ranges. Were they good players?

:club: after this blinds will pass over me and i'll be left with ~60k on BTN which is not like a very bad spot or end of the world -> but the problem is that i might dont get any oportunity to shove firts in (couse there are also other short stacks on table) until i get UTG again and then i'll have like ~55k and with that stack i have less FEQ and if some1 calls me and if i double up i'll have like

- its true, but if you dont have opportunity to shove first in, you might have opportunity to call somebodys loose shove, you can pickup good hand or monster, or got the walk:) You cant shove loose because you are afraid that you dont pickup good hand in next 30 hands:)

:club: - imo the thing is that when some1 calls me the kicker imo dont matters couse imo no 1 will call me with A2-A8 (expect maybe the very shortstacks ?( )and i'm only in bad shape when i got called with 55-99, but i think the flush and str8 combo are compensating for the bad value of the kicker

-its true! shoving with Ax is ok but you stack is too big imo to do this.

- :club:what is ur pushing range in this kind of situation?
mine standard shove in this spot is like 66+, QJs, KQs, A8s+, AT+ and some times if table is tight 55/KQ/QTs /KTs/ JTs/KJs (is this range loose in this spot)

- It depends on table but generally my shoving range is a little bit tighter. I ship there 77+, KQs, A8s+, AT+...

th for reply
after i sleep over and run some calculations it seems that this is snap fold.
i'm running very bad lately losing all 60/40 not wining any flip mine big hand run into monsters etc so i guess i wasn't thinking clearly and btw in this MTT i was very card dead whole MTT and tired at the end... but any way in spots like this I think i'm often making some mistake, guess I'm over playing(risking too much) hands late in MTT, guess I should tighten up mine stack of hand ranges when i dont have chips lool

easy fold

u are never ahead again a call
lets say everyone behind u calls 5% on average (mp tigther, but BB looser)
then u have a FE of 0,95^8 = 0,66 %

66% of the time u will win 1/6.68 of ur stack
33% of the time u are allin with 0,32 equity

so as short calculation (I calc in M)

0,66 * 7.68 + 0.33 * 0.32 * 14 = 5,1 + 1,47 = 6.59

with other paramters its maybe get +-0 but I think its never get pretty profitable
