0,10/0,20 Fixed-Limit Hold'em (7 handed)
Hand recorder used for this poker hand: Texas Grabem 1.7 by www.pokerstrategy.cc.

Preflop: Hero is SB with A♠, 2♠
MP1 calls, 2 folds, CO calls, BU folds, Hero calls, BB checks.

Flop: (4,00 SB) A♦, 2♦, 8♦ (4 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, MP1 checks, CO checks.

First im thinking of laying down to aggresion to much of a vulnurable hand to go on but noone seems to want the pot.
Turn: (2,00 BB) K♠ (4 players)
Hero bets, BB calls, MP1 calls, CO folds.

No reason to think im behind so charging the draws.
River: (5,00 BB) 4♥ (3 players)
Hero bets, BB folds, MP1 calls.

Keep on charging think i´m well ahead of his range.
Final Pot: 7,00 BB

Only one thing I’m curious about is my thinking on the flop OK don’t think my equity is great there but it’s a small pot so it’s expensive to draw anyway. Problem is a made flush slowplaying makes it expensive to bet all the way just to get raised on the river would have a hard time to fold against that play if three SB went in on the flop giving me odds of 9,5:1 after a river raise? So I’m mostly giving up a little bit of equity to charge when my equity is greater and adding a bit of pot control thinking since my fold on the river to a raise would be easier don’t think I’m hardly ever ahead on a river raise there. Comments?

Bet the flop here! It is most unlikely that someone actually flops the flush and the only hads that beat you atm which are not a made flush are A8, 22 and 88 with the last one also unlikely, cause it would be an raise for most people preflop for MP1 and CO.

You will get paid of not only by onecard flushdraws (Kd, Qd) but also by a lot of AX (ATo, A9s, ..). Dont underestimate the fact that the Ace in diamonds is out there - Axs is played often, but any two suited not. Your villain needs KQs - KTs to play here, only the BB is a problem - but most likely (there are less diamonds < T than above :) ) has a flushdraw which he has to protect and is not able to slowplay.

Just plop out the flop and get more money in these spots and dont mind in some rare times running into slowplay - you will earn more at the rest of the time, sometimes even making the FH, punishing the slowplay twice ^^

Thanx for the input. You are absolutely right and I´m seeing that more and more the more I think about it. Goto stop thinking people are as tight as me
What would you do if he raised the river unimproved?

call a river raise :)
