Hey there,

I can assure you that has nothing to do with discrimination - unfortunately though, we have quite the amount of scammers who try and obtain the $50 with fake IDs.

For that reason, we sometimes need to ask for a picture of you holding the ID to verify you are actually the owner.

Best regards,

Hadi

Hello there

I sent photos of my ID card on e-mail adress that is given to me in your e-mail (security@pokerstrategy.com). On home page of PokerStrategy says that it could take up to 2 working days to transfer. I send photos 2 days ago and I haven't got money yet. Is there any problem in transfer or anywhere else or should I just wait a bit longer.

Thank you and I apologise if the question is on wrong place.

The only answer to my ticket was "Unfortunately, we will need a foto of your face + holding your ID next to your face now. Otherwise we are not able to send you the money."

Not a line about a real reason to ask for my personal pic. Saying that "there are scammers" isn't enough reason, I have to protect myself as well, anyone can be a scammer. Anything can be done with my numbers and now my picture holding them.

I've been researching and I found a lot of people who didn't have to go through this, so there must be a something that differs me from them, and it's that 'something' that I want to know.

I'm not saying I'm not sending my pics, I will, when I have a real 'something'.

Maybe you could raise a ticket with Customer Support and ask them what the issues are with your supplied ID so that you are able to rectify them.

The new answer to my ticket was completely contrary to this:

"Unfortunately, I can't tell you the reason. If you do not want to send this picture with your face, we won't be able to send you the starting capital."

So, they are supposed to tell "what the issues are" or not?

Hey there,

basically, there seems to have been something that raised the suspicion on your ID - that doesn't mean much and happens frequently. However, we can't disclose the details for security reasons.

As a consequence, you have been asked for said proof of identity - I can understand if you feel concerned about sending personal information to an unknown site, but there is not much we can do now.

Should you choose not to do the ID check, you will not be eligible for the $50 only - if you decide to cash in yourself, you can profit from our first deposit bonus as well as earn StrategyPoints to unlock new learning content.

I'll do as you people are asking, then.

Understand that I am only exercising my right to hold my suspicions too
