rofl you play halfstacked to lose less when getting sucked out?sorry but that's the most stupid thing i've ever heard really - how about winning more if you have a bigger stack?

No, he plays half-stacked because he wouldn't let go of an overpair for 100BB, so he can reduce his losses that he suffers because of bad play to 50BB -.-

it could be worse...

On NL10 I never got more then 7$ from a guy, but I lost 10$ several thimes, so why risk with full stack?
I know that with bigger stack I should win more when I hit, but that just doesn't happen to me.
With 50bb I often double up, get of the table and that's how I am building my bankroll.

Your logic is flawed, and that's hardly a bad beat. That happens atleast 2-3 times a day to me and i only play like 1000 hands a day. If you don't feel comfortable playing with a bigstack then play with a halfstack. Or more what's more likely, your not following proper BRM.. In the end though, you will only lose out on money because you only can get half their stacks at most.

if you have never ever doubled up a 100bb stack, then probably you havent played enough. because even a losing donk would have achieved doubling his 100bb stack once.
well, a good strategy is a winning strategy. if playing 50bb wins you money, then i say play 50bb. what most people here are saying is that, you aint going to do well with 50bb, or more factually, 100bb is almost statistically more + ev than 50bb.

I have played MSS alot in NL10 and NL20 and if you know what are you doing you can bee winning player. 50bb is easier to play with your QQ+ cos you just go broke on turn if there are no overcards or heavy drawy board, also bluffing 50bb stack player is harder since they go broke more often. But again you loose alot of value with sets and you have bad oods in 3-bet pre flop pots.
100bb play really needs more skill when to fold big hands(TPTK) and when is/not opponnet bluffing you.
If you like to play 50bb and you are winning with it..then do it.
