I know there are a few places in town to play, if anyone here goes I wont mind following around to have a look at the live game

I always play blackjack in the Vic

Well... I don't play BJ and neither shall I now that I'm skint, don't reaally want to hit my BR for that

But if there's anything going on I might be up for strolling around, I'm quite curious about seeing a live casino.

I play 2-3 times a week in the vic (BJ and Poker ♦), sinds we moved to London.
Games are really soft.

Hey guys, a new Londoner here! I've been living in London now for 7-8 months and play a little live poker every now and then... I live in Chelsea so my local poker rooms are the Mint on Cromwell Road and I believe the Grovsenor isn't too far away either. I sued to play weekly at the Loose Cannon in Cannon street but that game has closed down now Just wanted to drop in and say hi etc etc, if anyone has any London questions or w/e give me a shout!

Maybe they lost they lost their free $50 and said f**k it but this site is worth much more than the free roll thats for definate

Most of my friends arnt really into poker and those that are just havn't got a clue basicly so never really had anybody to discuss it with properly untill now its nice to see a few fellow englishmen/women arround here

I have heard a rumour about a NL50p game at a casino somewhere which sounds interesting, maybe someone could confirm that.

I'm a west country boy, any Bristol heads about?

Been playing for about 2 months now and just starting to get to grips with it all.

Hi everyone and welcome to the community,

I used to live in Cheltenham for a while myself so know a little about the area.

In terms of Bristol, I know there is a Gala casino there which is used for the British Masters tour (CBMPT) so must be pretty big and used to poker etc. I haven't personally been though so don't know what it's tourneys or cash games are like.

Probably best to do an internet search before going down there. I think from memory the biggest casino chains in the UK are Stanley/Genting (Circus, Maxims, Mint brands), Grosvenor, Gala, Aspers & London Clubs International (includes Rendezvous brands). Most of these should provide some sort of poker. There are ofc other smaller local brands too and I may have missed some big national chain

In addition to the casinos, specialised poker clubs are now springing up in places (Fox poker club just opened in the west end of London, Duffs Full House down here in Hampshire, the Full house in Reigate, DTD in Nottingham etc) and of course you still have loads of different pub leagues floating around.
