1) maybe i´m the only one again but i would bet this turn again for a free showdown because of the draw hwavy board.

2) äh wow ^^. i am not sure about the flop but you should definatly bet the turn and this river !
i don´t have much time now. i will have another look later.

hm... it´s a bit ugly because the preflop aggressor bets first. if he would put in the 3-bet it think i would fold because there is a good chance he has a set or a bigger 2 pair.
but this way... hm... he could raise with a flushdraw or a lower two pair (that is what you can beat) but i think you are behind after the 3-bet.
and you are "only" getting 5,x to 1... against unknown i think i would fold it... but i have the strange feeling that cirith will bust me for this in a few hours :P

3) don´t donk the river. i think its a split or you are beaten. ifhe isn´t too aggressive i think i wouldn´t donk the turn too. there is not much that you can beat.

4) call flop/raise turn imo. there are many overcards which can hurt you. when he 3-bets you are most likely beaten but i think you will have to call it down.

imho ;)

//edit: hey woohoo i´m a judge ^^

congrats with the judge thing.

thx

couldn´t stop thinking about the hands while i was showering so:

2) i think i wouldn´t be able to fold it either. maybe its the right thing to do but i´m really not sure if i could do it. maybe its just wrong

4) @cirith:
in another thread you mentioned that its sometimes good to raise the flop to get a calldown from A high. i´ve never heard about this "concept". does it apply here ?
and how do you react to a 3-bet or/and an overcard on the turn

1) easy bet for freesd

2) cap ^^, bet turn and river, whos the chicken now? (let us stop with this childish sh**)

If I think about what they can bet/raise with on the flop its following: SB contibets becauser the board is scary, BB raises any pair to knock all the other out and MP2 raises his fd for fold equity/value/freecard and you can for value and protection. Even if SB has an Ace its unlikly that he hold AQ here. If you are behind you have the odds to draw on the turn.
Maybe I'm too aggreesive here but I see myself very often ahead here and if I knock out a gutshot or a Q thats a good thing.

3) check/raise turn and calldown to 3-bet else bet/call river.

4) Hmm I don't now the prefect play here but I think here are 3 possibilities:

a) nh, induce bluffs from A-high (not the best because he might have 6 outs against you)

b) call flop, raise turn, I like that too because you can max. your value but loose the most if you are behind.

c) raise flop to get a calldown by A-high. You get less value than b) but you loose less. Really hard decision.

Because the flop is paired he will call most A-high hands down which speaks for b) but I try to get someone else judging this

3) you always say "check/raise turn" in this situations but i don´t get it... he 3-bets preflop and caps the flop after an ace falls... what could he have ?

2) i see but i don´t get one thing: "If you are behind you have the odds to draw on the turn"... if i´m behind i have max 4 outs. and my pot odds aren´t too good ?!

2) 1:11 is enough and I will get it if someone donks into me on the turn or what do you mean?

3) AQ or AK maybe AA from time to time but most often AK or AQ so I want max value (not the best line vs passiv guys)

EDIT:

4) I talked with bahmrockk and he told me that line b) is the best and he doeas it 100% of the time here - if an Ace comes on the turn he calls down. so thx @ bahm :)

i mean the flop. when you think you are behind you only get 5 to 1 or something on your call.

thats exactly what i was thinking about (we will tie with AK and lose to AA) and i can´t imagine he would cap the flop with "only" AQ after you capped preflop. maybe i´m a bit too scared ^^

ok :). so under which circumstances do you raise the flop to get a call down ? (opponent, board, preflop action)

4. Call flop, raise turn is good, if you can easily fold if he 3-bets. If not, raising the flop is better!

I would see myself ahead on the flop and cap. If someone bets the turn again I think about being behind :)

3) if you realy want to know he had A8 preflop.
