Allanon went busto just as i was posting the last update.

He had about 6BB left, and got it all in with AT against two guys. He didn't improve by the river, and one of the villains showed 55 to take down the pot.

The $50k Poker Player's Championship is also just starting up again. Patrik Antonius ran past me as he was late for the start of that.

Nazgul is also out. He actually doubled up to ~1,400 chips a while ago but when he pushed from the button with KTs, the SB snap called, and the BB over pushed.

They showed QQ and KK.

Nazgul then hit a flush draw on the flop, but it didn't complete by the river.

He is off to playing some cash games now.

Latest Chip Counts@Level 4 SB/BB - 75/150:

BongBob- 4,725
RobbieV - ~3,500

BongBob just doubled up a while ago.

He raised the CO with QK, got called by the blinds.

Hit top pair on the flop, the blinds check, he bets a bit less than half pot, and the SB puts him all-in. BB folds, BongBob called and the SB shows QT. Nothing changed by the river and BongBob is at 31.5BB.

The new WSOP bracelet

Interesting thread! i actualy read it when you made it but didn't post.

Will be following it! And goodluck to team pokerstrategy!

Some really interesting table line-ups in the $50k Poker Player's Championship

Phil Galfond, Jason Mercier and Dario Minieri are seated on the same table.

Meanwhile, Joe Cada is playing in the $1k No Limit Hold'em Event #3.

RobbieV went out in level 4 before the break. Have not had a chance to tall to him yet, will post up that update later.

BongBob still has about the same chips, and we are at level 5 now. SB/BB 100/200

We are now at level 6 - SB/BB 100/200 with 25 Ante

BongBob now has around 6,500 chips. Nothing much else to report.

One of our video producers, Jonathan Little, is also playing in Event #3

RobbieV out? To bad for our Dutch hero :(

It's the dinner break now, and i have some relatively good news.

BongBob has around 12,000 chips now. He doubled up about half an hour ago and also picked up the last hand right before the break.

Blinds were at 100/200 with 25 Ante, and BongBob had about 27 big blinds left.

BongBob open raised with A5s, chip leader on the button calls, and SB calls.

Flop comes J J 7 with a flush draw for BongBob.

SB checks, BongBob c-bets (with the intention of going all-in), and BU shoves, BongBob calls all-in. He then hits an A and doubles up to about 11k.

In the final hand before the break, BongBob raised to 525 from middle position, the player to his left re-raise to 1,200, BongBob pushed all-in and villain folded. I heard villain say he had AQ.

Also managed to talk to RobbieV and he went out holding KK against AA. He had 3,600 chips at the start of the hand.

UTG raised to 500, RobbieV re-raised to 1,000, UTG goes All In and RobbieV Called.

Robbie said he decided not to shove pre-flop because UTG is really tight, and a pretty bad player. If he pushed, villain would fold hands like JJ but will call the raise.

When villain went all-in, he thought he was quite possibly running up against AA, but KK was just too good to fold there.

Just a quick update on the hand above.

Villain actually showed AK, and so I heard wrong. BongBob said he had JJ there.

Also managed to meet up with another PokerStrategist Simon aka Guennilicous, who is also still playing in Event #3.

Guennilicous

He has around 3,000 chips left. He said he lost the last hand before the break.

The game is going to restart soon as the dinner break is over.

We are at level 7 and the blinds are 150/300 with 25 Ante

BongBob just had a big hand, and another double up.

Villain raised from early position with 800, BongBob calls with KJs (spades)

The flop came T 8 7 (all spades) to give BongBob a king high flush.

Villain bet 1.5k, BongBob raised to 3.5k, Villain shoves, and BongBob calls.

Villain showed 99 with one spade for the straight flush draw, but onlly had 1 out since BongBob had the J of spades.

He is now at 26,000 chips.

Guennilicous just busted, after he shipped his 77 with around 10BB left into AA.

We're at a new blind level again.

Blinds and Antes are now at 200/400 with 50 Ante.

A total of 2,601 players signed up today. The earlier reported number was the total sign-ups for both Day 1A and 1B, but registration for Day 1B is still not closed yet.

BongBob and his healthy chip stack.

Yellows (covered) are worth 1,000, light blue 500, dark blue 100, green 25

Latest hand update from BongBob:

BongBob made a raise to 1,000 from UTG, folded to the BU who went all-in with 4,400 chips. The big blind tanked for some time and folded, BongBob also tanked, and decided to call.

Villain said, he had a pair, and showed 77. BongBob had 55. The board changed nothing.

BongBob is down to around 13,000 chips now.

He raised from UTG to 1k, called by a online cash game/HU pro in MP.

Flop came 7 K 6.

BongBob c-bets 1,350 and gets called.

Turn Q

check, check

River 8

BongBob checks, Villain bets 2,125, BongBob calls.

Villain shows 88 for the rivered set, BongBob shows a Q or K (couldn't quite catch it)

BongBob just busted in level 9.

He was down to around 10BB, on the big blind. UTG had raised to just over 2BB and he called with QK.

The flop came T J x giving him an OESD and 2 overs. He checked, UTG bet and he pushed all in. UTG called with AT, giving BongBoy 11 outs and a back door flush draw. Unfortunately, no help came by the river.

All four Team PokerStrategy.com members, BongBoy, Allanon, Nazgul and RobbieV, will return on Monday to play in the $1,500 buy-in No Limit Hold'em Event #5. There will be no live ticker tomorrow as the team members won't be playing in any events.

Meanwhile, Nazgul is still at the cash tables, i think he has been playing there for more than 7 hours now, and seems to be doing quite well.

lol!whats the value for one chip?what blinds do they play?

@Shinerseb, i will try to talk to Jonathan Little when i see him on Monday, i didn't want to bother him too much today, coz he looked super focused.

@jhustincase, you mean Nazgul? He is playing NL 2/5 if i am not mistaken, each red chip is 5.
