Best of luck to RobbieV! Make us all proud! _love:

Nothing too much happening at the tables, RobbieV is going to start soon.

Nazgul's event has around 650 entries and registration is closing in a few minutes. He is slightly below 6k now, according to my count.

And here's a better pic of Liv Boeree

Great thread, keep up the great work! _thumbsup:

What camera are you using?

Also: good thread, very interesting to read and follow up on TeamPS.

These are Nazgul's chips at the break

Original von elhh82

The dealer told me at the break that the guy to Nazgul's left is Celine Dion's husband.

Thanks for the comments. :)

I'm using a Canon EOS 450d supplied by PokerStrategy.com. Have more time to play around with the settings today, and hopefully can get better pics in the future.

Thought it would be in that direction. I have the same, very good stuff :)!

Just had a short chat with RobbieV, his event just started.

He told me that since one orbit is almost 1/6 of his chips (SB + BB + Antes) he can't really wait to fold into the money. He will be trying to pick his spots for a double up.

He is seated at table 370.

Nazgul is now in Level 3. chips still about the same. Blinds are at 75/150.

261 left in RobbieV's event and 243 cash.

RobbieV just doubled up, should have about 35k chips now.

CO opens to 3.1k (blinds are 600/1200 with 10 Ante). RobbieV on BU shoves 15.7k, blinds fold and CO calls.

RobbieV shows 33 and CO shows AJ.

RobbieV hits a set on the flop, and improves to an inconsequential full house on the river.

Go deep RobbieV and Nazgul! :f_thumbsup:

Mr. Celine Dion bust out, I think I heard with JJ.

Nazgul is up to 7k.

252 left in RobbieV's event

We are at hand for hand play now, 245 left, 2 to go. RobbieV is up to 40k now and is having a pizza.

He made a nice squeeze earlier.

UTG opens to 3.1k, UTG+2 calls, RobbieV in the SB raises to 10.2k, UTG folds, and UTG+2 tanks for all his chips before folding.

RobbieV is IN THE MONEY!

RobbieV chipped up again, up to ~55k now.

Player to his right peeled an ace and shipped in 10bb. Robbie called with QQ and won the hand. Villains had A2

Nazgul is still at about 7k. Had some funny table talk at his table when i was there.

Player 1 asked me: Is this guy like a big deal or something? (pointing to Nazgul)

Me: Yeah, he's sponsored by our site. You mean you don't know him?

Player 2: He's like the German Phil Hellmuth or something.

Nazgul: Aw c'mon, that's mean.

Chip average is about 50k and RobbieV has about 50k.

Up one level to level 12 now in RobbieV's event, blinds at 800/1,600 with 200 Ante.

I think i didn't report this earlier, but Nazgul is playing in level 4 now, blinds are 100/200

Gogo Robbie.

This was a weird hand in RobbieV's table a bit earlier. I didn't quite catch it but here's the report from pokernews.

On a board reading Jh 6s 3s 5s 8d, Kevin Boudreau shoved for about 30,000 into a 28,000-chip pot. Chris Wa thought about it for a minute, then called all in. Boudreau showed Kh3h for bottom pair and was clearly bluffing on the dangerous board. But with As4c, Wa had called for his tournament life with ace-high and couldn't beat a bluff.

He got extremely angry when he saw Boudrea's pair of threes. "Why didn't you much? You should have mucked when I called!" he shouted and stormed away from the table. Boudreau was amazed that he'd won the hand. "I've never seen a hand like that before," he said. *I edited it sllightly for clarity and one clear mistake*

Anyway, the guy basically tried to pull what PokerNoob did in EPT Barcelona. The guy who lost was really pissed, and kept asking "Why didn't you muck?"
