Thanks dandy for these words. yes, they help. So its ~week now without poker. I am starting to study again tomorrow. Lately I was playing HUSNGs so I will stick with them + I will get free coaching from one man. Still have to complete watching last video of beginners series for HUSNGs and then will watch some more videos. The thing I like about HUSNGS - 1 table is enough. :)
I wont be posting results often - blog readers shouldnt be results orientated.
I will post graphs when I will reach milestone point I guess. Smt like 100$ mark 200$ mark, 500$ mark, 1000$ mark.
I feel motivated again.
I am looking at myself from other point of view - I live not so great life, I want to do so many little things in my life, but I need a bit of money. Who can give me this money? JUST MYSELF! I will earn it! I want to make my house and yard a beautiful place where I could make some small parties, now house is in pretty bad condition - I am living with my sister and her friend here. Parents are divorced and lives ~50km far away each from us. I have to get more independent and grow up. I will take poker really serious now. I will try to get money for book called The Poker mindset. Because if you dont have really good mindset you are a fish. Doesnt matter what stakes you play.
I want a beautiful life and I will have it!

Wow, your last post was really motivated, it's great to see that! I totally agree with what you said, in the end it's all up to each one of us, we have to get what we want.

If you don't mind, I'll just give make a suggestion:

"I suck at poker, I suck at life. Lifenit." doesn't sound much like the motivated you, so how about changing that to something more positive?

and by the way, The Poker Mind-Set is really worth it, so definitely buy it as soon as you can.

This is sounding very good and motivating so here are one quote from Atoks

"It hasn't been easy for me. I doubt it has been easy for anyone succeeding at anything! The more u want the harder u have to work for that. The good news is that if u are willing to put in the kind of effort it takes to succeed over and over and over and over again, it gradually (though slowly) becomes easier to invest even more of urself. It's gonna be a helluva journey though and u better be prepared for some VERY rough times."

This text helps me from time to time and hope this will help you too. GL

So here is study day!
Day started really well - I got 8 points in psychology exam(max is 10 points). I don't care about psyhology, I just care about english, math and physics, but anyway feels good.
I will eat now, then clean my room an then study tiiiime.

Nonononon dandy, I will change "I suck at poker, I suck at life. Lifenit." when it won't be truth.

Thank zemnieks, really inspiring words.

Feeling motivated is one of best feeling in life. :)

Ok, time to eat. :)
Maybe even I will play poker in the evening but don't know yet.

So a milestone update.
I just finished my 100th HUSNG.
The graph will show how it went. I think it went pretty well. I didnt know anything about HUSNGS when I started. I played ~15 games on 1$ level and then all the rest games are on 2$ games. Roi 10%. Not bad but could be better.
I still find myself in wtf situations when I play against nits, but I am adapting pretty well against others.

Today is my first working day with my father.
8hours of job = 20$. I guess that's how much people earn in 1h in some countries. But that makes easier to be a pokerpro here - cheap life. :)
I would like to become pokerpro at next year before summer so now I need to work on my mindset and build solid roll. For now I will stay at HUSNGS and later I will see how big edge I can get. If edge will be small and swings huge I think I will buy a new screen and switch to NL SH cash as my main game because longterm imo cashgames is a way to go.
Ok time to eat something. :f_grin:

Hello sick people!
I was working only 2 days. Partyed a bit and worked a lot at my countryside house. Just mowed a grass at my place - took like 2h.

So when I was in my countryside I had a lot of time to think about poker and life.
I want to think more longterm. So what I decided that I am switching back to NL BSS SH, becuase that's the game I want to play for living and probably hit nosebleeds someday. So I withdraw my 70$ from Winner poker and will put them into some pokerroom which is tracked to pokerstrategy. I want to try out other pokerrooms not FT or PokerStars, because games should be softer and I dont need so good software because I will be playing 4 tables max. Would be great if room would have some RB or bonuses system. I am planning on purchasing 1 HM key for 20$ and getting money for coaching with one guy.

I will start playing next or this week. We'll see.
While I am waiting money I will watch pokerbrothers coaching series and porbably some other videos and do some gaming I guess. :)

I will also buy Poker Mindset book when I will hit NL10. I think I will read that book really fast and re-read few times because when I read something that interests me I read like machine. When I was small I could read 1 book a day. My sister taught me to read when I was 4-6 years old. I dont remember. I was fastest reader in my class. Now I am not reading books, because I am too lazy to go to library.

I also want to make my daily chedule but it isnt so easy.

So now decisions are clear. I will be playing on Pacific Poker(888 poker), not tracked to PokerStraetgy but tracked to HEM webpage, because when I will get 75 points on pacific poker I will get 100$ to spend on their web and HEM costs 89$. As I saw, they dont have NL2 but just NL6 so I will be playing that limit. I will also recieve 70% bonus there.
I also got Poker Mindset ebook and now I am reading it. Really interesting read so far. :)

Watched Pokerbrothers video series on NL10. Had great fun.

100$ bankroll reached!

So I moved to pacific poker yesterday and today I reached 100$ mark on my account and variance sometimes is a nice girl.
I was in some spots where I didnt know what to do but pretty much I think I am playing not so bad. I am 2tabling because software sucks and I feel okay playing 2 tables to improve. Already applying some things from Poker Mindset book into my play. I need to work on when I am winning I am scared to lose, I will work on it and I hope it will disapper soon. I have played actually more hands on grapgh, but not much more and I didnt want to post graph actually with less than 10k hands, but it's milestone update so w/e. Here it is.

I have already got 1/7 of points what I need to get HEM, I am now using my friends HEM code.

Also real life is going okay. :)

Congrats!!

And I really like the "few tables + Poker Mind-SEt principles" combo. I use it myself

Just finished my last session and I am up 36$ today, that's up 6buyins @ 700 hands. 85bb/100 I know, I know no sample and not sustainable, and one lucky river for me here. Bankroll @ 117$.

fml. I am shitty player but so damn lucky. I want to puke rly.
My EV winnings show that I should have won 5$ in 1700 hands but I have won 33$ 5 stacks above EV sucks. Maybe it's just variance, because it's not my fault when I have A4 and oponent has A8 flop come A84 and I go broke on it and obvs hit, and some flip winnings. I feel really terribble. Tomorrow is a new day!

you feel bad cos your running above EV? these are the days we must enjoy!!! the fish always suck out on us, when we get a little bit of revenge it can be bittersweet ;)

also, EV doesn't always tell the whole story... if you stack off pre flop with KK and run into AA, your EV will dip... BUT YOU MADE THE CORRECT DECISION!!!!!!!

So yeah!
Today is my 18th birthday! rly 18? not 19? No 18! So I am big boy now.
Yes I faked my passport. Maybe I will be banned now, so be it.

Serious mode on!

I want to say thanks to all people who are in this community except few. I want to say special thanks to Ihufa and NightFrostraSS for giving me a lot of laughs, thanks to TwiceT for motivational post, teaching me how !mindset is important!, thanks to Dandycal and Caltabiano for giving me a good read and good motivation, thanks to Zemnieks11 for helping with my game and for helping with HEM, thanks to amplifyd, Richard Burke, BOBOvsk, and Kyle for helping me in skype study groups, thanks to Grailer (R.I.P.) for his genius posts, maybe he will be back after WSOP.

Some advices for real beginners. I am beginner too.
Work on your mindset before you start playing poker at all. In my opinion pokerstrategy should include some midset questions in beginners quiz.
Don't switch your games as I did. Choose your game and get at decent level at it. Dont overexpect things. I have this problem too, I am overexpecting bigger winrate allways. :/
Read forum! You will learn a lot!
Never say yourself that you can't do something. If you have a dream you have to protect it. /The pursuit of happiness./

What has poker gave to me?

Umm. It is great knowledge and what you learn in poker also is needed in life. Actually for my poker winnings I have bought HDD for my PC and made my own GYM in garage, and I regret that a bit, because my roll is no ~100$, it probably would be bigger. Poker has improved my english skill a lot and I think I will get much more better in future, ofc if they won't ban me. And yeah! Since I am atleast breakeven player I am better than most people in poker! But in poker average is not acceptable so I will study harder and become better!

What I want to give back to this community?

I want to give back some motivation for other players. I would be so happy if someone would post after some time "Look how this guy made his way from NL2 to a solid winner in NL100." :)

Ok. Thats all. If you read I would be happy if you leave some feedback. :)

Just read through your blog and I think it's quite interesting. You remind me so much of myself when I was starting out with poker too...

Anyways I added you on skype for some coachings/sweatsessions/talks to help you along on the way. :)

Happy Birthday!
