To conclude for today, three of our players played today.
BongBob was knocked out in fourth place in the $10k Pot Limit Hold'em Championship $214,106.
Nazgul and innerpsycho were both eliminated from the $1.5k No Limit Hold'em shootout in the second table. They each won $5,620.
It's the $1,500 event today. I think there will be some PokerStrategists playing the event for sure, but the Team PokerStrategy.com members are definitely not playing in the event.
They have decided to skip the lower buy-in events, to focus on the bigger buy-ins. Plus Germany is playing today, so most of the German Pokerstrategists in Vegas won't be playing as well

Event #39 - $1,500 No Limit Hold'em Shootout
1400 players started this event and after 2 round of 10 man single table matches, only 14 remain. Team PokerStrategy.com member Nazgul and Russina Black Member innerpsycho both made it into Round 2, but were eliminated there. They each took home $5,620 for their second round finishes. 1st place for this event pays $382,725, with the final 14 playing in a standard MTT format for the final 2 rounds.

Laminate that article from the NZ Herald about your NZ Poker Open win, mount it on some sort of stand, and use that as your chip protector IMO. Uber intimdation factor. When asked "What is New Zealand?" you can tell them its an island totally populated by hard arse MTT pros.

Populated is maybe not the suitable word as there are 2.5 less inhabitants than in my country which is 10 time smaller. (yes, this is a country !)
For today, chenny8888 will be paying Day 2 of the $1,500 No Limit Hold'em event today. He is currently the chip leader with 151,000 chips, and is very near to making his first WSOP cash.

Played a couple hands in day 2. I have a really really tough table with something like 7 online players. I think I managed to convince everyone that I'm bad though so they're not really getting out of line against my occasional bluff 3bets etc.
I've played something like 3 interesting hands, 1 where I had AA and flatted a fish's open from late position and bet/called a QQx rainbow flop, checked behind a 7 on the turn and valuebet vs a check on a 8 river and he snapcalled with JJ. Then lost a pretty big flip with AK vs 99 and won a couple small-medium sized pots (1 4-way one where I flopped top pair and valuebet 2 streets and the fish folded to my river bet).
I also played an awesome hand where I openraised 87o from MP3, CO flats and flop comes KJ5 with 2 spades, I have the 8 of spades, I checked as my equity on this board + lack of position + the fact this board hits his callinge range pretty hard. Turn came a 2 of spades, and again I checked. River came an offsuit 6 and I checked, villain checked behind... and I was good. lol donkaments
Have about 200k chips now.
