18 and 27 are not worth it imo. Better 9 than these ones. Between the 90 and 45 I'd say 90 are better because you get 3*places_paid and you play with a deep stack. This means you can play for implied odds really well (ex: Call 20 rule). The only con for the 90 is that it takes longer. But you don't get that much action so you can easily play 2-4 even as a beginner. Of course, start with one but you'll get the hang of it in no time and then you can open more tables.

1$ + 0.10 (3,000 chips) 90 players + 18 places paid <- those are pretty easy

I've played two today. In the first one I didn't place, in the second I placed 9th.

How long did the games last?

Probably about 1:30-2 hours till the final table.

The bubble alone took about 20 minutes

Yeah I play a lot of the 90 man SNGs. Sometimes they can take as much as 3 hours, however if you can get in the money it isnt too hard to make the final table as a lot of players sort of just give up once they cash and it goes from 18-9 really quickly. The person who mentioned the bubble is right though, 20 minutes is about average for that stage of the tournament I played in one tournament were the blinds were 500/1000 with 19 players still in, people just love to cling on. I would recomend the 90man SNGs as with pretty standard ABC poker you can consistently cash.

Anyone have any advice as to which is best at pokerstars at micro stakes?
there is so many options even 180/360/990, i notice the 90 man mtt on pokerstars pays for less places, how difficult are these to make the money and which would be the best option?

What you have to keep in mind with Stars is that, since it's the biggest poker room, the amount of fish, especially on the micro stakes, is considerably higher than on other rooms.

I've been grinding the $1+$0.2 9man SnG in FT after some months break and I ve been destroying them, pretty easy if you want my opinion.

Go check them.

There are many bots too there, keep an eye on them, their play is very easy to exploit if you can spot them.

What's your strategy at those tables? If you want to keep it a secret that's fine with me.

lol.. u mean bots like bots (=programed software) or people playing ABC? If you know about some bots you should for sure write email to support. ♠

i play the $1.10 45 man on full tilt and i constantly cash. It's not hard to cash, but you need to play a lot of them because you get sucked out by fish sometimes.

Yes, he means software that plays poker. And there are a lot in certain low-stake areas. But why would he report them if he's good at exploiting them? Besides, FT may not mind a few bots. Would you kick out someone who plays 8 hours per day every day and generates all this rake?

Guys, I notice that most of you recommend the 90 man MTT SNG, but what about the 1 table SNG? Comparing to both which is better?

There's really no "better" here - it all comes down to what suits you most
