I think Phil Ivey is the best, but my favourite players are Sammy Farha and Eli Elezra. I'd love to play against them someday.. 
From what i've seen on HSP, they have very similar playing style to mine.

The pros are pros because they got lucky. One big win and you will get sponsorship for life. Phil Ivey and Daniel Negreanu don't play with their own money but sponsorships money. They are no better players than you or me. The word Pro doesn’t mean they are better than us it means they have just been fortunate enough to be in a position to play it for a living. Stop looking up to these people as such Gods they are no better at poker than you or your friend !

thirdly luck is a factor in Holdem, in fact threes an article on here in fixed limit bronze section. it’s not all luck its 80% skill 20% luck in my opinion.

The best poker player in the world in any format is phil ivey. proved by an eariler comment he up 18million on full tilt, nobody is telling me he got luck to win that much! tournment wise he the alltime money leader so what more prove do you want??!!

Well luck is a huge factor, especially in MTTS. If you want to win a big MTT with over a 1000 players you simply have to get lucky a few times. Sometimes you're aces just get sucked out on and you're out of the tourney. I think dwan player like over 40 tournaments in this year's WSOP and haven't managed to win one of them, even tho his definitely good enough to win at least one.
The fact is you have to be very very lucky to win WSOP ME. Every one that won it in the last few years sucked out a number of times. Thats juts poker.
But overall when you put in the volume the better players always win. Not just the pros, but also a lot of players online that you never heard of are making a nice steady profit to make a living from poker. But some are lucky enough to win it big and become one of the known pros and some just never do.
PTR is not a bible, and not 100% acurate so dont get fooled into data that is not 100% ♠ ya heard me!
