No matter what happens I just don't know how to beat this level. If I raise hard I get called by lower PP that hits a set, my TPTK is never good, My AK hasn't won a showdown yet. It's just getting frustrating can anyone help me to beat this level? thanks
tbh it has gotten to a point where I just want to skip this level, I know it's not good BRM but I might just take my chances.
Unable to beat nl4 so move up and play higher, tougher stakes, sounds reasonable. gl
Well you can:
1) Try improving
2) Go gamble at higher stakes
3) Cashout and quit
Your choice man, not ours.
how to improve lol i thought nl4 and nl2 would be similar
^^is asking for help btw
Not sure if there's much difference between the two, there's tons of material out there, just dedicate some time to watching videos/reading articles/post hand histories to get evaluated by hand judges etc. Studying might not be the most fun part of poker, but more fun than losing at the tables.

Variance
1. Bet/fold every street with tpgk or better.
2. Reconsider the strenght of your hand whenever you get raised.
3. DONT BLUFF
4. ?????
5. Profit!

Post hands and stats. Its clear you are making a ton of mistakes but we don't know which ones.
Well I guess stats and stuff might be useful but....

is really, really, honestly almost all you need
I 1000% agree!
... but if he posts hands we'll know if he's value betting or value towning. From his OP is sounds like he's doing too much of the latter.
I came from limit and started playing back in 2004 so when I jumped into modern no limit in 2008 I misapplied a lot of things that seem obvious to no limit players. For example I thought being aggressive meant potting every street with TPTK.
If he beat NL2 but can't beat NL4 then there is some kind of disconnect between words like "value bet" and how he's applying them. (IMHO)

Yea, this sounds pretty accurate.
