@ a,b,c,d,e,f ... game:
my take on it: fuck off b,c,d .... game
a-game always or dont play. my definition of a game is the following:
given all your poker skill & all the information on surroundings you have, you try to play the best game for given conditions.
meaning when u have some rl issues but need some disctraction and want to make some moniez, u play 2 limits lower than usual and enjoy the "easy" game. ofc, this playing style is not "a-gamish" for your standard limit, but given the situation, u are playing a-game.
playing your home limit it means you are taking the game serious, playing focused and concentrated and do whatever u think makes u win longterm (like u might not analyzing hands in play but afterwards in hem, thats ok ofc. i personally like to analyze in game as often as possible)
just saying its "b-game" cuz u made 4 - given all the information - longterm ev- mistakes is totally wrong imo.
we are not playing b-game here. we are making wrong decisions cuz we still have many fishy tendencies in our play. dont find excuses like "b-game". we are making these mistakes even in your a+ game cuz we probably didnt study the game enough and still are fish in this spot. only solution: dont blame b-game, but blame your overall poker skill and improve, improve improve ....
mistakes are key and most important (!!). @ life, business, uni and poker tables. mistakes let u improve. learn from them and dont to them again. thats what makes us pro.
to sum it up "learn to lose, and u will be rdy to win"
btw: aaaah, i expected some life changing philosophical 2k post lady
