Played SSS but decided to hang around a few hands. Started with 40c and just waited for the right hands to come.

I came across this situation where my instincts said call but layed it down. Did i do the right thing?

I will post the outcome of the hand afterwards. Note that the table is made up of loose passive and loose agggressive...all playing with air!

Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Play hand

$0.01/$0.02 No-Limit Hold'em (5 handed)

Known players:
[tg]BU$0.33:///////;SB$0.90:///////;BB (Hero)$2.26:///////;MP3$0.72:///////;CO$0.58:///////;[/tg]

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q:h, A:c.
MP3 raises to $0.06, CO folds, BU calls $0.06, SB raises to $0.26, Hero folds, MP3 raises to $0.72, BU folds, SB calls $0.46.

Hi,

Your stack size is 45xbb effective (see stack sizes other players).
After 1 raise and surely after 2 raises, AQo isnt any good. So NH folding it :)

AK would be a shove for sure.

If the table is way too loose, tighten up instead of looser ;) Just wait for the good hands and stack them :f_biggrin: No need to get evolved in marginal situations.

Hey AllinStefk,

Nice fold. There is a raise, call and squeeze(second raise) where it's fairly safe to assume your AQ isn't good enough, so I would lay it down even with 20 big blind stack.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I also think the fold was a valid fold but it can be very frustrating at times playing against maniacs-especially when the cards arent coming all the time.

This was how the hand played out:

Hi AllinSteft.
That was a good decision. After rise you come in with QQ+ AK.
