Spartan, it sounds like you've been grinding :) are u still ss'ing or have u moved to BSS now? I dont play much but when i do its nl25sh (sometimes nl50) Anyway, keep up the good work!!

Maybe we will have some sort of home nations or international tourny for the english community at some point - other than botd?? but im not so sure at the moment - maybe cannell555 could help us out on this...

I welcome you both, and gl @ the tables..

Hey Roger, The maybury has tournys every month. Think its usually £20 buy in. There is also Circus Casino up at fountain park. There are loads of pubs that have poker nights aswell. Always good for a laugh. Might see u at a table!

Hi flopper, ive not been playing a lot of NLH i prefer the SH FL more action and more fish who love the action lol, playing on mansion at the mo , my god some bad plyrs on there, i think as it is a casino too u get the gamblers coming onto the tables .i find i get bored playing one type of game so im branching out had a pop at SH PLO, very interesting game. found you have to be even tighter than at NL , even a bit nitty, only drawing to the nuts ect. anyway cya and gd luck at the tables .

Hi guys,

I have made a private tourney for the UK players. The buyin is $5.50, and it will be at 13:30 ET (stars time), 18:30 English time. It's this Sunday Augenzwinkern

The tourney is called PS UK, and the password is PS UK1. Hope we get a good turn out smile

C'mon folks thats nearly 12 months now and only 8 of us have owned up, 9 if we include the Muffin man...
Well and truly outnumbered by the real english community judging by the size of their thread. Gotta say I'm dissapointed about that, I thought there would have been more of my fellow countrymen on board by now.

Anyway, "HELLO" to all of you who have taken the time to say hello - how is everyone getting on, are we all still here, still playing poker?

I haven't... been too busy with work and haven't had the time to keep up to date with what's been happening at ps.com but thankfully all that is about to change and i'm gonna start grinding out some dollars from the remainder of the year - I hope  I really need the cash..

Hello all.

Thought I'd add my name to the list of Scots in here.
Good to see there are at least a few.

I'm from the North East, about 40 miles north of Aberdeen, and damn is it cold and miserable here at this time of year.
Perfect for sitting at the computer playing poker!!

How are you all doing?

A big hello to Renmerb and wquinn636 welcome and thanks for increasing the army, er, I mean adding your names to the thread. Maybe in another year or so we'll have enough plrs to sit at a couple of tables n play a few hands some time eh?

@ wquinn636 - where u from sir/madam :P ??

Hello there m8s!

I'm the translator of the spanish community (well, one of them) and I'm going to move to Edimburgh for a few months, and this thread seems to be the perfect place to say hello to all the scots out there.

I'd like, if possible, to hang out a bit with some fellow PS members, to drink some beers, chat a bit and all that kind of things people do in pubs and the like ;)

So if anyone is interested, send me a message or answer here, I'll be there from July to... who knows ;)

Ups, first of all sorry for replying so late, I had to do a ton of things and forgot about this :(

But yes, I'm still in Edinburgh, I plan to stay here for a few months more, perhaps even one year if things go well.

And well, going to a tapas bar perhaps it's not a good idea, I still have too many spanish food in my belly ;) but I'd love to meet and drink some nice pints with some fellow PokerStrategists from Edinburgh.

So if you are interested, just throw me some lines!
