@abt checking balance: the good part abt the money also is, when u stop looking at balance totally, like none in 2-3weeks, then even if u accidently happen to see some numbers later on on your screen (fe some platforms show the ballance on lobby screen - i alw just move the screen to the corner of my monitor screen so it's impossible to see it, but it occasionally pops up) u ll catch urself to just not recognize what it rly is. At least thats the way it works for me.

I strongly believe checking balance and graphs after each session is a BIG minus for a serious plr and quite a hinderment in his poker careeer. The things u want to be checking for in HEM are marked/problematic hands, not some results. And esp on higher stakes.. resultorientadness is just the worst. On 1k+ anyone can lose 10stacks like ntg by playing the absolutele possible best and its jusr ridiculous even thinking abt money at those moments, coz edge betw plrs is obv fairly small. Instead, what is the best to concentrate on is how other ppl view our unluck on the tabs- most ppl will expect us to steam and automatically adjust to sth they in some way away as our psychological reaction. If there is none such thing tho (which is another thing of being just reckless abt results) they will outlevel themselves into bad decisions.. so standard esp on lower than 600 lims.

@Alverine: i play ante tables fairly rarely.. i d say i play them mostly if i have just read on a plr, but not regularly, coz i just lack exp. Ofc games are loser and it is the future of NL SH highstakes games. For now i dont intend to in any way specify in these games tho, since on NL1k level they are still relatively few. I hope they are more later tho, coz it just widens the opportunity for an edge in looser, deeper game, thats for sure. gl in ur mtts.. switch to NL when u win some nice one contact me for coaching if interested.

@supeyrio: i think Ivan is not rly active in this blog for a reason that he is having a similar one in Blg community where he is posting quite some more of actual play etc.. (He wants to win a trip to Gib for free for a blog of the month competition they run there or sth) Y, the session was quite godlike, part of it was running good, the other part was me explaining Ivan letting his fetish for 43s hand go :), and teaching him how to play without initiative vs agros, which alone brought 2 stacks in few hands (1 guy showed us a fetish for 32s- by 3betting us in BU vs CO and 3barelloff his stack with no equity on midcards.. was funny ♦).

disagree here Jonas, the route was a circualar circuit around the town of Panapiel. 21km out and then 26km back. The wind did change, but the last guys had 26km tale wind compared to 21 of those first ones. Not a major difference, compared if it was 1 str8 road, that would ofc play a big role. And it was by 37s, which is not thaaat close in the 1st place. I just think Cancellara went through some rly bad patch, given everybody gained ~1min on him in the last part of the race. I suspect he is just sick of the current atmosphere in Saxo coz of the drinking accindent and Schlecks moving out while he is bound by a licence for 2more y afair still.

these factors played by far the biggest role imo:

1, his brother Martin rode it first and supported him w perfect info on the track.. they are virtually of same built so he knew how to then spread his strengths

2, Danielson before him and that just top 5 started in 3mins intervals. For last few kms he had an eye contact on him by closing the 2min interval betw 7-6th and he is a noted timetrialer, and the one most ppl actually thought would move up the most in GC by the end of todays race

3, his 1st ever big Tour where he is a team GC leader- although they dont do much for him, at least he is not a watercarrier anymore and has sth to prove. Anyway, i just hope they leave HTC coz Cavendish's presence makes it impossible for the likes of him or Rogers to do much in the GC while team cannot back them up.

I just hope they will be fully behind him for the next days and not so much for Cav. The team is left with just 7, so it will be hard to spread the strengths. Cav's green seems to be fairly secured and for 3rd overall should be quite some more money than green winner, so hope he ll retain it now, tho Bak, Cav or Goss are just totally useless for mountains and 4th-9th are sooo close..

anyway, we keep on running w Ivan, and life is good, my sessions are everyday up and down, i am not rly sure how big my edge is honestly, i ll look at the end of 1-2 months, but y, feel strong temptetions to play some NL400 also for some easy money just like 1 day/week, but then again.. won't i just slip to laziness?!

long time no update. the main reason is that i am active in my blog in the BG community where i am participating in a "blog of the community" competition which will win me a 3 day trip to Gib and PS office .

In the end of the next month or the beginning of November we decided to go on a ATV multiday expedition in Iceland.

So far this is our choice for a host but we are open for other suggestions

The location is great, and we can choose different journeys. This is safe for everyone and a whole lot of fun. We will have a guide. We will be surounded with lava and mountains, amazing nature and still 20-30km close to Reykjavik.

Everyone is welcome to join us. My estimation is that if you live in central Eu you will need approximately 1000euro for the whole trip where the most expensive thing is the flight ticket.

for now this month is full of up and downs. in the beginning of the month i started with nl400 and played utterly bad and as expected lost 10-15 stacks. i gave myself one day break and started to play more seriously again and got several stacks back. with TLN we started to analyze hands/situations again and fixed some of my leaks. analyzing daily definitely added a new level of expertise and confidence in my game.

i am varying my betsizing due to deepness of stacks/positions every time, not just PF but also F i heavily underbet manytimes or want to bet some different than 3/4 of potsize.. and its just impossible for me to even 5table, when i want to keep active everywhere.. but i ll prolly just quit playing there, ipoker is dying last few weeks anyway.
