No problem, I'm glad it helped you.

Give me... back... my... $186... pot...

What a hater

You never wanted to listen or take advices anyway, so I won't bother writing anything... just taste it the hard way if u want so, like i did few times in the past. And as we saw on your 1/2 adventure, you know the hard way isn't 120BB downer, but could be a bit bigger :P, so think about of an impact that would make to your BR.

I don't mean to hijack your blog taavi but tomyzb what are those comments based on? You checked Cornholio's PTR (at one site) and assume that it's accurate? I'm sure he's a better player than you or I am and has probably made 5x as much as I have lifetime.

Also taking shots at my winnings according to my PTR is lol, I'm running wayyyy below EV at T/20 so far which is destroying my PTR. I have won over 3000 BB at 3/6 over a large sample (pure winnings), which is probably 1/4 of your winnings at that limit, no doubt.

I agree JohnnyRocket is a great FL player and it's awesome to have him on board.

I just find it hilarious how you just PTR everyone and then rank us according to that. If you had PTR'd me and dawnfall in April you'd be like "Omg TerrorBlade and ello mallo are the only good players", cause i had 24k on PTR winnings and dawn had ~4k.

I never really understood what you're trying to tell me (besides that I suck). But you always sound so result-oriented.

TerrorBlade: Great post! Totally agree with you.

And about Cornholio: He may won alot in the past, but he is not a winner anymore - well maybe at lower stakes. What i find scammy is that he is trying to look like heavy mid limit player with his vids while he doesn't even play 10/20 regularly. He is good to teach low limits from 0.5/1-2/4 though.

And i am not saying who's good and who's not by results, one just has to look at the JohnyRocket's vids or Dawnfall's hand evaluations and you just imediately see the diference against others, couse it's just so much more understanding about the game in their words.

Okay, the reason I mentioned PTR was that you seemed to be throwing out a lot of criticisms at taavi.

From the vids I've seen Corn seems to be a tough and creative player, please tell me other than PTR on one site what is your basis for him being losing at low stakes?

He could easily have other sites he plays at etc.

The reason why I'm so pushy about this is because you're basically calling his authenticity into question, and it's quite offensive. I'd love to see him reply personally though, I'm sure he could answer your questions =)

Like i said: He is good for teaching low stakes, at least up to 2/4. However on higher limits he is not a winner for the last 2yrs on 2 biggest FL sites..

Anyhow i doubt we will come together in our points So lets give time a time and we'll see it in a next year or two.

ABT criticism on Taavi:
Well he just take any word that doesn't speak for him offensive, example: he posts a hand he totaly spewed out, and i wrote that this was a total spew and don't do that, and instead of thinking abt it, he gets ofended.

The other thing is when he played 3/6, he berated the players at the tables imo just cause he was nervous for his money. So why would i choose my words too much if he can't keep out his bad language at the tables..

Anyhow, enaugh wasted time by this trashtalk, for me, TB and Taavi, should rather watch some vids or stuff instead..

Peace

I had to think about which post could offend you. It seems that you're the guy who lost that big pot with AA against my set of nines.

Tried some 3/6 with $2.5k roll because 2/4 tables suck hard at Monday night. Unfortunately the 3/6 ones filled up with regs pretty quickly, too. At least I got some nice action against a straightforward nitreg :

Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Play hand

$3/$6 Fixed-Limit Hold'em (6 handed)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 9:d, 9:s.
MP2 raises, 4 folds, Hero 3-Bets, MP2 caps, Hero calls.

Flop: (8.5 SB) 2:h, 9:c, 6:h (2 players)
Hero checks, MP2 bets, Hero raises, MP2 calls.

Turn: (6.25 BB) 3:d (2 players)
Hero bets, MP2 raises, Hero 3-Bets, MP2 caps, Hero calls.

River: (14.25 BB) 6:s (2 players)
Hero checks, MP2 bets, Hero raises, MP2 calls.

Final Pot: 18.25 BB.
Results follow:

Hero shows a full-house, nines full of sixs(9:d 9:s).
MP2 shows two pairs, aces and sixs(A:h A:s).

Hero wins with a full-house, nines full of sixs(9:d 9:s).

Bah. I c/r the flop immediately hoping to get raised again on the turn by KK or AA. This guy was just too kind, it's pretty obvius I can have only 99 or AA when I 3bet the turn. Especially with his nit stats

I posted this hand because it's the biggest pot I've ever won so far ($106). I'm so in a grinding mood but the awful tables just ruin it.

LOOOL, this must be you. Hahahhahahaha, now I understand why you're mad at me. I had totally forgotten this post. Sorry about the "nitreg" thing, but I had like 50 hands from that guy and his stats were really nitty.

I still think that the turn cap is questionable, as well as preflop cap.

epic :f_biggrin:

I see that I've had lots of 0.05/0.1 and 0.1/0.2 FR action against you . Only 4 hands from 1/2.

Good luck. How come you're a coach while playing 1/2?

September graph:

7k hands of FL SH $2/$4 and 4k hands of $3/$6. Won a lot at 2/4 and lost 115 BB in 3/6.

+ over $330 in rakeback

I also withdrew $1,3k at the beginning of the month, which was a bit more than 1/3 of my roll.

That new rake system at FT is really weird... It seems to me that I'm generating double the rake that I used to. Wtf, I made about 900 FTP playing 500 hands of $3/$6 and a little bit of $2/$4. No happy hour, and the points appeared under the Iron Man thingy.

Maybe there's some promotion going on but these are usually generating the "bonus" FTPs that don't appear at Iron Man.

Anyone else experiencing this? It looks awesome :f_biggrin:

edit: oh, I see, they're just giving more FTPs to shorthanded players
