Pretty retarded to allow something like this though, it is almost impossible for anyone else to beat Thomas now. I thought the idea was to make good video, not to buy votes (his video may good for votes, smart even but it goes against the idea of contest.)

This was a more or less spontaneous thing. You can put rules and terms on everything but the black members were free in their choice as long as it did not violate the forum rules.
So you can of course dislike his idea but on the other hand he was maybe just most creative.
See, this could be risky on the other hand. If eg several players would make this it might be the case that the votes will then be spread and another idea wins.
As everybopy had the chance in so doing I would not say it was unfair.
However, for further votes we could definitely consider not to allow offering cash for votes.
