As in the JJ hand c/f is perfectly fine, especially without any information about the opponent.

Usually I still try to win the pot by betting those $17 he bet after you checked.
It seems like an exploitable betsize, but actually the opponent will have a really hard time - after all you 4bet preflop and make a bet on a dry board that looks a lot like you're trying to induce action. To him this will scream "QQ+".

Do you find that ppl calling 4bets have a strong range (QQ+) most of the time, if not all, and are just trying to "trap" you?

I can't see why you would do this with a weaker holding and if this is so we can play almost perfectly against it.

A competent reg does not call a 4bet even IP if he assumes the opponent is competent.

I found that some regs do it with AA (and only AA) in order to trap, but also only sometimes.

Mostly I saw people doing it with hands that they didn't really know what to do with or were afraid with, for example they have AK and feel like shoving is overplaying the hand but folding is too weak, so they end up calling.
