as already mentioned, player's party yesterday was great. party like a pro till 4 am, but ofc i had to go to bed then to be in good shape for main event. some of my friends partied till 8 am or so

short update from day1a:

overall many self-proclamed pros around. however, overall skill for a 5k€ buy-in is low imo. ofc, some pros are rly good and if they have pos on u deep, it sucks bigtime. however, most of the young guys are just aggro pre and dont have too much clue about postflop play (which is crucial in such with such a great structure). just not creative enough imo. many plrs also just weak overall. and yeah, ofc also some fish (business men etc) around haha

im very satisfied with my play overall, focused hard 12 hours and tried to play my best. i have 101k chips atm, average is ~ 50k.

tomorrow is day 1b, so i have a trny free day. will probably play some cg and take it easy. pretty high stakes. only 5/10+. 100/200 deep plo action to come the next days and schiep even got to start a 200/400 fl table haha (so far nobody wanted to join hahhaah ♦ )
ofc, im sticking for 5/10 and 10/20 when playing cg. but if i get some staking /sharing going, we might go for some higher plo action ♦
however, as long as im in the main event, there is not too much time for cg anyway.

im afraid tho, that my edge is getting way smaller next blind levels. playing witih 300bb is rly great, but now its gonna be <75bb and it will be tougher to get in rly interesting postflop spots. but we'll see
