why didnt you reraise as a blind defence ? AQo probably crushes his stealing range (as unknown's stealing range ;) )

I'm playing very tight game against unknowns, and I'm not willing to go broke with it if 4-bet comes.

Hi,

Your call preflop :)

On the flop I doubt he's bluffing when he overbets it so I'd indeed check/raise, if you don't think so just call and check/raising the turn is fine.

As played I'd donk the turn, people get scared with everything that isn't a Q in that spot so they check back a lot, but sometimes they make the call anyway when you lead. If he has a Q as well it doesn't matter much, stacks will go in one way or another.

As played on the river it's ugly, depending on how tight he is he could possibly be checking back everything that isn't Qx on the turn, meaning we can't discount any boats when he jams the river. He can possibly have checked back some Qx hands on the turn as well but he doesn't have that many Qx hands willing to pot the flop to begin with and he probably wouldn't shove all of them after you lead strong when the river pairing the board.

Long story short I think it's a tough fold unless villain is really weird, like you're confident he can play most Qx this way and possibly even jam stuff like AA on the river figuring AATTK beats KKJJT or something.

Hope it helps.

Is that smiley like "yeah I agree", or "LOL OMG WHAT A NIT :) ?

Hi,

It's a "whatever, if that fits into your overall gameplan I won't expand on it" smiley :)
