PartyGaming - $1 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 3

Hero (BB): $137.48
UTG: $110.05
MP: $277.64 unknown
CO: $101.50 24/22/73 AFr/9 3bet
BTN: $100.00
SB: $100.00

SB posts SB $0.50, Hero posts BB $1.00

Pre Flop: ($1.50) Hero has A♠ K♥

fold, MP raises to $4.00, CO raises to $12.00, fold, fold, Hero calls $11.00, fold

Flop: ($28.50, 2 players) 6♠ 5♠ 6♣
Hero checks, CO bets $18.00, fold

CO wins $27.08

I think fold is out of question. AK plays extremely bad OOP but I still called. Is 4 bet and calling shove better?

I am 4betting here ... I hate acallling and u rpetty much have to hit (at least a good boad) to do anything and sitll it sucks ...
so I am 4betting
- now, Q is if to call a shove ... if MP shoves I am relly inclined to fold cauyse he represents a massive strength ...
if CO shvoes u should have pot odds to call so yea ....

Yep if I decide to 4bet I am probably folding it as well vs MP shove, even if I (almost) never 4bet AK and fold to a shove. THX.

1 more QUESTION! If unknown is a fish should I be more inclined to call 3bet to keep him in pot but playing OOP or not?

Fold is out of the question, but a call is too, imo.
You can not balance this call in any way - trying to establish a balanced callingrange in this spot is massively -EV obv because you'd have to call small SCs and maybe PPs.

So I 4bet this all day long.

If MP is a fish this might be a reason to call OOP, but you should always keep in mind that CO will be able to play perfectly against you:
You are going to lead out on A high and K high flops and c/f anything else, so you'll never get value from CO.
Therefore you have to be sure MP does not handread whatsoever - even some fish can tell you have a strong hand after calling a 3bet and leading out 3way on an Ahigh or K high flop, so the coldcall might actually be pretty -EV because you never get payoff in case you hit.
