imo when you have a goal like 200$ a day most of the times you will not acomplish it and is possible to lose instead of wining . several things happen when you put a money goal if you are not very very experienced .
1st of all you start playing results orientated ... not raising the draws that you should ... folding in spots you shouldnt ... beting too much with marginal hands because you need value . then you will have to put up very long sessions because if you will drop a bi or two you have to recover and win another 4 . this will be very stressfull and you will fill like shit playing 10 hours a day to breakeven . Mr Tilt will certainly knock at the door everytime you do a little mistake because you will care ALOT about the money . of course you will let him in and many bad things can happen from here ...
imo at nl 50 you can have an average win like 2-3 bi a day but this involves having days when you win 5-6 bins and having days when you break even or lose 2-3 bins .
variance its a part of poker and you cant avoit it . when you try to avoid you are not play corect poker anymore

By my math should be possible by 9tabling NL50 8hours/day like a standard job (kind of sick).

Anyway, since my goal is basically the same (i like the idea of 20$/hour) should i try to accomplish this by playing sng's (which is the game i study for 1 and half years now) or migrate to cash games in hope of lower variance + beating NL100.

if your goal is $100/day (for living expenses or whatever) wouldn't u be better off trying to get unto a level where you make $100/day in rake back? (stars does have RB remember, it's their VPP system)

if you know that by putting in a certain number of hands a day at a given limit will get you your $100/day, you can focus your efforts into reaching that number of hands and improving as a player in the meantime, since you wont actually be dipping into your roll for living expenses. however, I'd strongly recommend at least 100BI + for this, so that if you hit a downswing, you will still be able to put in the required number of hands at your limit.

so perhaps a better question for you would be to ask people to post the following:

Poker Site
Limit Played
Number of Tables played
Hands/Hour
Rakeback/Hour
Sample Size

For example (and this is a small sample size example)

PokerStars (GoldStar)
NL25 SH Shallow Tables (20-50bb)
9 tabling
750 hands/hour
$15 rake paid per hour, gold is approx 20% RB so thats $3/hour in rakeback
230k sample size

so i'm thinking for you to get to your $100 day goal, u'd want to be at least playing 24 tables @ NL50 or somthing?

ofc its possible @ NL50, 50k hands is fuck all for a month, u need good mindset, good game & dedication, ez game. if u r playing for a living y wud u want to play less than 50k, makes no sense since variance will have bigger effect on ur earnings
