Congrats Vonki! :f_love:

Bit of a bastard place to have a tourney IMO. All that sun, beaches, parties... dunno how you're gonna be able to put up with it... but we all know you're strong and will tough it out. _cool:

Not a bad argument really. Unless your going to stay for longer than the torny is...because if you jus win flights/accom for the time of the torny wats the point, u don't get to sight see.
Load up the credit card imo if you win one of those packages ;)

hahah, was probably too excited to check the spelling, but thnx for pointing it out

I found some information on the pokerstars website.

13-Jan 2pm Check-in
13-Jan 4.30pm & 6pm Sunset Poker BeachCamp
14-Jan 9am-1.30pm Bootcamp $300
14-Jan 2pm Ladies Event (2 Day) $1,000 +$100
15-Jan 1pm Ladies Event $1,000 +$100
15-Jan 2pm Side Event $300 + $30
16-Jan Free to enjoy Atlantis
17-Jan Noon Checkout

Looks like this will be my roster during my stay. Plenty of time to spend at the beach or partying imo, aswell as playing :f_biggrin: It might also be that I will be going earlier, on the 7th of January, and stay until the 17th. That would be sooooo awesome :)

I wish it would be january now already! :f_love:

But at least I got something to look forward to these dark and cold winterdays :)

Sooo! Time to let everyone know whats going on.

I've been playing cashgames now again for about a week or more, and my aim was to get 10k hands before end of november. But then last 2 days, variance decided to hit me, and to hit me bad... Yesterday I had the biggest loosing day of my whole pokercareer. Not only due to bad variance, I also tilted away a few stacks.

But in a way, it was also the best day of my poker career. We all know what loosing 10 stacks in a couple of days does to us. It fucks us up completely. We "feel like a part of me just died" I saw someone say. The good news is, I didn't! Even though I tilted, and lost aloooot of pots due bad luck it didn't destroy me like it used to do before.

Whilst I was playing, I felt rly upset and at times angry, but after the session I completely calmed down and realized that yes I had tilted, and yes I had alot of bad luck and yes, THAT IS POKER.

Instead of feeling beat up, I started thinking about how I could solve this. I decided that I was not, despite my good reaction, in any state of playing poker for a couple of days. So i selfexcluded myself for 3 days, then sat down to think about how to compensate the tilt. I decided, that I will play some extra hands in december, and that I need to start working on the tilt-part again.

I need to make some new rules for myself, of how long sessions I will be allowed to play, about always having eaten something when I play and so on. So that, along with some schoolwork is what I will be doing the upcoming days. I still got 2 more days before I get to sit down at the tables again.

On a side-note I am working out every 2 days for the last month or so, and my overal energylevel and performancelevel has gone up. I will keep going to the gym regulary for sure, it's amazing what working out does for you.

Since I didn't use a single smiley all post (very unlike me) I will compensate a bit...

:f_biggrin: tty'all later!

Yea! I didn't smoke for uhm, I guess 3-4 weeks now? I honestly don't even think about smoking anymore. The problem will come when I drink though, as an ex smoker you know that the urge comes back every time you drink hihi But together we can make it :f_cool:

Very good job with your stop-smoking progress. How is the cash games for you? Still playing on partypoker?

Thanks Mathnes!

I haven't played for a week or so I would think, because I had my worst winning day ever and wen't on tilt for a bit and felt like I needed to take a break for a while. I had quite busy times at school aswell so it suits fine :)

I did play a few MTT's yesterday and won $60 or so hehe =)

Partypoker? I don't play on partypoker haha ^^ I played there in june for a while to clear some bonus but I didn't play there for a long time now. I mainly play on FTP you should know that!

This week I will return to the tables though, and in december I hope to pull some decent volume again =)

  • MiniFTOPS as warmup!

Yep, that's right! MiniFTOPS are coming up in december and I will play 8 of the events. It's a good experience, and it's a good warmup for the PCA. I've kindly been staked for all the events (except for the 12$ KO which I will pay myself) which is good news considering the hit my bankroll recently has taken a hit from cashouts and stuff.

My roster looks as following:

Event #1 Wednesday Dec 08 21:00 ET (03 CET) 20+2$ NLHE
Event #5 Friday Dec 10 13:00 ET (19 CET) 20+2$ NLHE 1r1a
Event #11 Sunday Dec 12 13:00 ET (19 CET) 12+1$ NLHE KO
Event #13 Sunday Dec 12 17:00 ET (23 CET) 30+3$ NLHE
Event #17 Tuesday Dec 14 13:00 ET (19 CET) 20+2$ NLHE 6max
Event #32 Sunday Dec 19 13:00 ET (19 CET) 24+2$ NLHE 6max KO
Event #33 Sunday Dec 19 15:00 ET (21 CET) 20+2$ NLHE rebuy
Main Event Sunday Dec 19 17:00 ET (23 CET) 75+5$ NLHE

I'm looking forward to it, and I can't wait to get started! :)

If somebody wants to sweat or just discuss MTT's in general please let me know! It would do me good =)

xx vonki

Yeeeha!

I'm going to Estonia (Tallin) on the 17th to play in a live event. I'm going together with some other swedish freelancers (we will take the ferry from sweden to estonia and parteeeh meanwhile) and stay the weekend.

There is a Sweden vs Finland pokerevent going on that weekend, open for all pokerplayers (not just PS.com but rly everyone). Sweden and Finland are like enemys, we always compete against each other.

So I'm gonna play aswell for Sweden ofc (and ofc I'm gonna ship it too and lead my country to glory) :f_biggrin: The buyin is smallish, ~350€ and I've already sold out 80% of the buyin. Sucks to only get 20% but I cashed out a bit for PCA and will use most of my savings towards that aswell so I don't have alot to spare atm. I reckon it will be loads of fun anyway and I will ofc do my very best to win regardless of my own percentage :f_biggrin:

I'm really looking forward to all the fun the next couple of months :) This + PCA just makes coping with the superdark and supercold winter alot easier :f_love: We've had -20c today. It's just way to cold... :f_mad:

Peace out!

xx vonki
