Hi TCR! Also den Turn hätt ich nur gecallt, weil das für mich eine klare WA/WB-Situation ist. Nachdem die 8 am River kommt hättest Du dann natürlich den River raisen können.
So wie gespielt würde ich dann den River auch nicht mehr raisen nach der 3bet am Turn. Auf die 3bet am turn hätte ich überhaupt gefolded (außer der Gegner ist maniac, overaggressive, tilter oder gerade sturzbetrunken).

That means on a board like 9♠ , J♦ , A♠ it is better to raise the turn?


I think yes, because the chance is greater that villain is betting a draw, so you protect more and get more value by raising turn.

Just thinking aloud now: there must be some transition point. On a drawless board it's better to call down, on a board with lots of draws it's better to raise turn. How drawless must a board be to switch to calldown?

i think it´s not only important how drawless a board is. also your kicker can make a big difference.
imho there is no real "transition point". every situation is different and the right play depends on your hand, the board, the preflop action, the number of opponents and your reads.
