do you believe a new poker player who wish to start from 0 is better to play stt or multi table sit n go to learn poker and built a bankroll?

Personally I liked playing deep stack MTTs to start building a bankroll (and I still actually really like them). The reason being, that you can wait for quality hands to come along without having to worry about getting blinded out anytime soon. MTT SNGs play pretty similar to normal MTTs, they just generally have a smaller player field.

Well, STT has less variance, so I would say STT's are better.


Dude play S&G!!! It is DEFENITLY the best way for you to start. Learn the basics and you are ready to go and beat the 1 dolar S&G

try 9 or 6 max S&G. Multi-table as a lot more variance and you can find yourself bankrupt in no time. When u get decent BR try making 5% for S&G and 2% for MTT/ MTT S&G

STT to start with - learn how to play them and then move on if you want to.


$1 STTs are tougher than you think. 20% rake is fucking killer to your ROI. Study hard and you'll succeed at whatever game format you choose :)
