Ok so my raise preflop was correct I think. The game conditions were loose-passive. I felt that leading out on the flop and turn was also correct as I had the initiative and will have the best hand a fair percentage of the time. The only thing Im not sure about was calling the bet on the river. With straight draws coming in there it seems likely he had the ace... say A10 or A9 with maybe a flush draw there? Perhaps even AQ. I felt it was fairly unlikely a set was in play with a big poket pair or there would have been a raise pre-flop. I made the call based on the estimation that top two pair would be good more than 1 times out of 9.2 so I went with that. If it had been checked to me then I would have probably checked behind in case of slow-play. Would that have been a mistake?

Right first and foremost i am no expert BUT my opinion :-
PFR too small with a hand like KQo LP you want as few runners as poss...
Flop - TP wet board - I would fire a pot sized bet here to try and get rid of any draws
Turn if called then start to think about the following hands ATo / Axs or some weird shit that micro boys love to play maybe 44-99
River call is poor imo..... I would pop a lil raises here...
Hey thanks buddy. No offence intended here but you do realise I was playing FIXED LIMIT holdem? I appreciate the feedback all the same and had this been a no limit game I would have folded KQo pre-flop in this spot as it is too easily dominated to be profitable. I either win a small pot or I lose a big one - in NO LIMIT. But I think it is different in fixed limit, no?

preflop is fine. KQ is a decent hand that is ahead against all the possible hands of your opponents and nobody actually showed to have a big hand. everybody just limped. i'd felt pretty confident with KQ either. you are getting 1:10 on your rivercall. i would have called first. most of the time it'll be the ace but you can't be certain whether he can't bluffbet any pair, trying to make you fold any pair and you do beat each 2pair. after you picked a read that he would never donk a worse hand, you can make a tough fold but for the first time, you should call and take a note on him.

Unfortunately this time he had pocket Q's for a set. Just about the most unlikely hand he could have considering all the action before and on the flop and especially as I had the other Q. He showed no aggression before the flop - neither on the turn when he hit his set. My opponent played badly but got there. No sweat. I probably lost the least amount of money... Probably.
