Grabbed by Holdem Manager
PL Omaha $0.10(BB) Replayer
SB ($57.90)
BB ($9.05)
UTG ($13.82)
CO ($10)
Hero ($30.52)

Dealt to Hero J♥ Q♠ T♥ K♣

fold, fold, Hero raises to $0.35, SB calls $0.30, fold

FLOP ($0.80) 6♣ Q♥ J♣

SB checks, Hero bets $0.50, SB raises to $1.40, Hero?

Villain 28/5, 3B% 2.2, 387 hands

If we raise is it B/F or B/shove?

If we call, how do we proceed on a blank turn, lets say 5♠, to a pot size bet?

We deep and have position but villain shoves strength. We should call here because we don't want get it in under set or also he can have same hand as ours but with flush draw. If we call it's definitely easy call blank turn and than decide what to do on the river. Also if villain bets blank turn small we can raise his bet for value cause he almost certainly have a draw and our hand will be best most of the time. If turn comes club I'll fold to reasonably bet.

Too many implied odds/bluffing opportunities/times you have to clean up sick on the carpet to ever think about raising. IMO just call the flop with the intention of calling a blank turn.

It's one of those hands where we are in position and super deep which is a good thing, but we have a hand where we're not getting it all in against a worse hand.

His check raise isn't full pot so I don't think it's a set, but it could be a set plus a nut flush draw (unlikely) or just a flush draw (quite likely).

Call his raise. If he checks a blank turn bet and if he bets a blank turn call.

If a club hits and he checks, then check behind and if he bets you should fold.

The reason you check behind is if you bet, there is nothing worse than top 2 he calls with and if he has better (a set) he calls and you really can't barrel again on the river since he might be sandbagging a flush.

All in all i'm happy 1 pot sized bet going in on each street when I have top 2 pair. I may fold if the 6 pairs the board as we now lose to AA+flush draw.

The worse thing you can do is shove as the whole range of hands stacking off against you at that point is a set + flush&wraps which either flip or crush you.
