Short answer is that it always depends. There are some TAG regulars in micros too, and these people are who you want to be 3/4-betting as a total bluff. Against regs (who you know to be good, I don't mean losing regulars but people who multitable and win consistently, but probably are not super good because then they'd be playing higher) it's not as much a matter of cards than it is about position.
For example, here's a really good spot to 3bet bluff a reg, even at micros:
6-handed final table bubble. You're 45BB effective with the reg. He opens in any position to 2,5-3xBB and you 3-bet about 2,75x his raise with 72o from CO/BTN. Even if he assumed your 3bet range is wide there's nothing he can do if he doesn't have a hand, and he'll have to fold a hand as strong as AJ. 45BB is too much to shove as a 4bet bluff, and he can't flat because he's OOP. And because it's micros, and no one usually knows how to 3bet bluff, the reg will assume you have a big hand. Regs will almost never flat because they are OOP and they know the stack to pot ratio is very awkward (in this case you'd have like 2-2,5x pot behind), so your hand doesn't matter because you expect to almost always get either 4bet or get him to fold. Therefore all you need to do is to figure out if the situation is good and go berserk with your 3bets if it seems you can get away with it. You can just as well hide your hole cards and look for spots to do this with any two.
Against random fish at micros it's different. They will flat very often and they're not stack sizes aware. Against them you can still make profit by 3-betting and c-betting, but here the 3-bet in itself isn't profitable if you don't regularly c-bet almost every flop etc. Because you'll have to play post-flop against them more, you need to be more selective about your 3betting hands.
I would suggest to 3-bet hands that play well post-flop such as 87s or QJs or KQo, and avoid hands like 22 or A9o (never 3bet small pairs against the fish unless it's a resteal shove, because you want to keep them in the pot to flop sets against them) because they're so hard to play.
A good spot to 3bet against a random microfish is when you're at least 45BB deep and he opens from mid- to lp and you're in position with, say, T9s. You 3bet to 7BB against his 2,5xBB open and he flat calls. Now just c-bet every flop and he'll check-fold two thirds of the time because he hasn't hit. Printing money! Avoid 3betting hands like Axo, because you also need to think about the value side of things. You still want to be able to sometimes also stack him because of your better kicker, which obviously won't happen when you 3bet A3o, he calls and the flop comes Axx. On those kinds of flops he'll fold if he doesn't have an ace or better, and when he has it he has you outkicked. Therefore you're never going to win a big pot against him. When you 3bet a hand that can also flop TP with reasonable kicker like QJs, it's so much better: you can still cbet Axx and Kxx flops and he'll always fold if he hasn't hit, but you'll ALSO sometimes stack him because he'll have top pair with a weaker kicker against you.
But still, against the fish it's usually better to just flat. With experience you'll know what to do. I hope that cleared things out a bit, still! Happy holidays.

100k challenge, week 4
I played 5 days and about 55 hours total, took the 23rd and the 24th off. Won the Microgaming 6max cubed twice for 3kish, Stars 50€ 6max once for 2kish, and took a lot of other final tables. If it wasn't 6:30am right now and had I not just finished a 12-hour session I might write a longer entry about all the adjustments I've made this week, but I'll let the figures talk for themselves now.
As I mentioned in the beginning of the challenge, I may play live tournament satties from my bankroll. I did so today so those buy-ins are added to my profit (as the corresponding sum is missing from my accounts due to those buy-ins).

I think it's about to call it a December! Two days left of this month and I'll be busy both tomorrow and New Year's eve obv so this is it I guess:
When we take off satellites and other stuff the month was +29k... not bad with a $2k starting capital. People are already offering to buy themselves out of the bet, but I probably won't let them just so I'll have motivation to grind until I've reached my 100k goal. After that it might be time for a $100k-->1M challenge 
I'm not realistically expecting to get a lot of months like this though, I believe on average I'll be winning about $15k/month so this month I just ran good. Which is fair enough after running like a three-legged horse for October and November.
I don't think I've ever posted pics of our grindhouse. I live with a fellow grinder, who plays PLO heads up at 1/2-5/10 in a 100m2 flat that has two floors etc. On top of that we have a massive rooftop terrace, I think it's like 40m2 or something, but sadly this is Finland so it's covered in snow at the moment. I'm kicking myself for not taking any pics of it during the summer, it was SO awesome to wake up and just go to the roof for a sunbath.

100k challenge, week 5
I played only 3 days this week. I was mainly lazy, which is BAD, I could and should easily have put one or two days more worth of volume in. Way to go Miikka, that cost you about $1000 in equity.
I created myself a new weekly schedule that I'm extremely proud of. It took 1,5 hours to come up with it, and I'm not going to copy-paste it here, as I believe everyone should do their own work and I don't want anyone copying it. Here are the specs though. This is only my monday to friday schedule, haven't done the weekend one yet. I'm going to play higher on saturdays and sundays than on weekdays because there are more fish during the weekends.
Monday-Friday:
Starting time of the first tournament: 18:30
Starting time of the last tournament: 00:00
Expected session ending time on average: 3am, meaning 8,5 hour grinding days
Total tournaments per day: 39
Amount wagered in buy-ins per day: 1505€ ($2k-ish)
Smallest buy-in: 3€ rebuy, $11 freezeout
Biggest buy-in: 25€ rebuy, $108 freezeout
If I play 210 days a year, which is probably going to be quite close to exact, I'm going to be playing 5/7 days according to this schedule. Therefore, I'll be playing 150 days a year by this schedule.
1505€ in buy-ins per day, av.ROI 50% (it's actually going to be higher, but let's just say I'll run bad), so on average I'll get 50% of 1505€ back as winnings per night = 725,50€ profit. Then we'll discount rake by taking 10% of profits away, which will leave us at 675€ profits per night.
675€ x 150 = 101250€.
This is only for monday through friday, so with weekend included I think reaching a +150k€ year is not going to be just doable, but also pretty easy. I don't mean this as a brag, I'm mainly just being realistic. I think this kind of target-making is what everyone should be doing. If you don't have goals, how can you achieve anything?
Here are a couple of induce lines from tonight's session. In both cases the villain was aggro. In the latter hand I was gonna snap any river off with K high. Remember, you need to be creative. For example in hand 2 I doubt I would've got any value out of his 9 high had I not minbet the flop to induce.

I start at 6.30pm Finnish time (4.30pm GMT) but I only have the Ongame $54 Russian Daily and Prima 55€ on before 7. Oh and I usually late reg for the Stars.fr 33 6max as well. So usually when I sit down I'm still surfing 2+2 reading hand histories and stuff for the first half an hour. Then at 7pm there's a shitload of tournaments starting, so after 7 I have about 10 tables. I think I peak at 9.30pm Finnish time / 7.30 uk time when I might have as much as 30 tables but usually only have about 20. The maximum number of tournies I've tried playing at a time is 40 but that was way too much and I just found myself autopiloting.
I only OPR people if I'm really deep in a big tournament. I don't play Stars.com or FTP.com so the player pools aren't that big - I know basically every good euro reg and I have hud of course so I can see their stats. I think playing more tables >>>> having time to OPR, but when you're deep in a sunday major or something it's good to know what someone's ABI is, so you can bully him around if he's normally playing $11s and is now still in a $215 with two tables left, even if he's a good player. Even good solid aggro scandis tend to tighten up when playing above their normal buy-in range, which makes Sundays awesome.
100k challenge, week 6
What an epic fail of a week, I was ill for most of the week so I could only play 3 days. Today I played a 630€ live tournament, ended up finishing 22nd. I lost a chiplead pot with AA to 98o when we got it on KT8 flop, and then 88<A7 pfai for an almost-chiplead pot to bust. Fml, oh well. I'm playing a 1050€ freezeout and a 3000€ freezeout next week so hopefully I'll be able to win something for a change. On the minus side, I won't have much time to grind next week either. My roommate just flew to Macau for almost 3 weeks to play some live pokers, so I'll have the flat for myself. So on top of the fact that I'll be playing the two days of live tournaments and possible day 2's, I'll have a party at my place and spend some naked time with my gf = I'll probably play like 2 days of online poker towards the challenge. Luckily I'm so far ahead I don't really have to stress about it, though.
I don't think anything interesting happened online this week, I won a few small tournaments for 1k-ish prizes but nothing bigger.

I have no idea about his post-flop tendencies as I'm multitabling. Villain insta bet every street. Ongame has all-in, half pot and pot buttons, and the half pot thingy usually gets it a bit wrong, so he very likely just insta clicked pot-half pot-all-in. I don't think that random donkeys are able to value bet very thin, so I pretty much snap called, turns out he either a) owned me or b) randomly clicked buttons and accidentally owned me. I vote b!

I think he's like 50% ROI 50% ABI, 427504257 games. 11/10 over a 2k+ hands sample. He know's I'm a top reg at this site. I can think of one hand I can get value from, JTcc, and I feel I lose to everything else. The other villain on the turn is a mega fish so I'm of course willing to get it in against him. I should probably have bet a bit less on the turn though, I was trying to size my bets so that I could fire 3 barrels against the fish. I don't know what case 9 the reg can have, I'm sure he knows me well enough that I never have a random overpair here, so there's no 9 to get value from.
I know it's crazy, but I'm just curious what exactly is going to call us that we beat? Remember that the guy on the turn is a fish so (from villain's point of view too) we don't have a bluffing range and I don't think we're going to fire that river with a random overpair either vs this reg, rather just check-fold. Even if he was in station mode he could only pretty much have three combos that we beat: Ts9s, JcTc, As9s and arguments could be made that all of those could be folds too. Or at least that's where my imagination ends...? Just in case people don't notice, flop was 4-way and turn was 3-way with a fish in the hand.
http://weaktight.com/3095165 Oops. Ongame $54 6max - I have a solid/tightish/un-Chuck Bassish image. UTG limper is 22/12, this is only his second or third limp. I have a certain bet sizing read - he bets according to his hand strength. Pf he's 4-5x'd his strong hands and raised small or limped the weaker ones. Post he's been potting or close to potting with strong hands and betting small, even minbetting with air.
The flatter is a reg who isn't very good but isn't totally awful either, he's like 24/17 in 6max. I think the hands he'll overlimp pre that hit this board in any fashion are 44, 22, T9s, JTo, QTo, KTo, ATo.
My range from BB is obv 100% of hands so I can represent T4, T2, 42 etc. I'd assume that he would raise a set on the flop (as he's not necessarily aware of UTG's bet sizing tell) and I don't think there's any hand worse than AT that he can possibly think I'm 3barreling here unless it's a bluff, and who bluffs this spot?

I mainly called that for the betting pattern tell. I've played with antesvante quite a bit both live and online and and there's a certain thing he likes to do bet sizing-wise when he's on a bluff. I can't elaborate further though just in case he reads this, I don't want to lose my only tiny bit of edge I might have against him He also snap shoved the river, which isn't something you do when you river a straight imo. More likely it means he's planned to shove the river anyway, and is trying to appear strong.
