Whoaaaaaaaaa guys this is gonna be epic. I HAAAAAAAAVE to visit you for sure! ♦ GL everyone, I know you can do it :).
I'll give the first poker update of this blog :f_biggrin:.
Not much to say actually except that I'm continuing studying lots of PLO and also grinded a lot today, over 8 hours. Got up a good amount of stacks but lost everything (and more) to a pretty bad player. Normally I got a stoploss but this guy was so bad + not using momentum well + I kept playing my agame, so I decided to play further. Unfortunately he took 9 stacks but I am really satisfied with the plays I made. So I'm stuck again at a very low amount of BI which is a bit unpleasant but I will get back. I just want to get away from PLO100 because the rake is really killing. Over a 12k sample now i have a winrate of 11bb/100 and a rake of 15bb/100 :f_confused:. So I really want to take shots on 200 again soon but with 3 buy ins this doesnt seem like a good plan :f_biggrin:. I could also deposit money but since I'm kinda new to PLO I don't wanna do that (except when I go broke on this site). It will take some more time now, but as said, I'll get there.
An interesting thought I acquired last days is that I look too much to the future. I am constantly thinking/dreaming about higher limits etc. that I lose track of what is really important: THE PRESENT.
While playing I should put much more focus in the game. Think about the decision you have at that moment, that is the only thing that counts. Try making the best one. Over and over again. Don't look at the cashier, don't use skype, don't think: if he keeps playing like this, I'm gonna get him one time, I'm gonna trap with my next monster and get all of his money, don't think: omg this fish is so bad, he has 4 stacks , I'm gonna get it all. This only leads to disappointment because if you manage to win it, you'll find it normal. As I said earlier in my own blog:
You will only feel emotions if something does not go as excepted.
Therefore:
Never expect anything! Just think about the immidiate present, what is the best decision NOW? Your life will become much easier + results will be better as well.

IMO own NL200rush +5bb/100 is sicko, but please achieve it = we will need czech video producers and coaches If you play FR, we can learn a bit from each other.. I played my first hands in 2k11 yesterday and.... I' d love to keep the winrate 400$/hr but prly won' t find other way how to sustain it than not playing at all.... ♦

After 4-5 week of playing and learning PLO I realised that I am still break even. This is ofc not super bad because it's a new game and I am trying to learn it. But since I'm an economist I always think about what I can make doing something else. Since I know my winrate in NLHE is pretty big (will take lots of time to get that in PLO), I decided to go back to NLHE for some time. Regain some confidence, some money etc. Probably increasing the ratio between NLHE is better than switching comepletely. Now I went from 100-0 to 0-100. Probably starting with 90-10 is better and slowly increase that number. In order to maitain a healthy income+slower learning curve.
So last 2 days I started to grind FR again. Returned to stars cause I think SNE is deff doable for me without too much brainless grinding. I get bored of playing 12 tables anyways so I want to play more tables. This also gives a more interesting dynamics with all the regs I encounter. With Tableninja its really pretty easy to play more tables. Right now I 24table NL200 (cause I dont have that much $$ on stars atm) but I'm planning on going to NL400 once I'm in PI. Also when I move up I will play fewer tabs, something like 18 or so I guess because I need more focus there to play my agame.
Playing agame is very important for me. When I feel I miss out on too many spots I decrease the amount of tabs but I'm pretty confident this is maxEV for me atm. More dynamics with regs can lead to interesting hands where they just spew off stacks :f_biggrin:. Mostly starts when you 3bet them 2 times in a row they think you bluff every street in every hand :f_cool:. Also unconventional lines are nuts, no1 believes you.

Look to the situation again ;). It's not std -> they get confused --> take the wrong decisions.
@Wendy: thx, we go straight to Cebu (altho ticket is not booked but will do that asap as Dyl&Zemam finally buy their ticket ♦). Dylan hasnt come onliny for days now. I knew he had some problems with his parents but I get scared now ♦.

right, i opened both my sleepy eyes and noticed that you flat/4bet, not cold 4bet, my bad. guess he probably puts you on small PP but he probably forgot you could have AKs and TT-QQ that you may flat/4bet for value. i do that to aggro 3bettor/sqz as well. i like it
